  • Chinese women are so beautiful.Love to marry one.

  • @Willie1915 Ha! Me, too. Preferably Michelle Yeoh!

  • @NaturalTwentyFilms Also they are more loyal in a relationship/marriage.Who is Michelle Yeoh ?

  • @Willie1915 Michelle Yeoh is a Hong Kong actress from many of my favorite movies from the 1990s. She was in "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon", too.

  • @NaturalTwentyFilms How old is Michelle ?

  • @Willie1915 I think she's 47 or 48.

  • Living in 10th and Race (Heart of Chinatown) most of my life, you start to know everything about whats going on here. I met so many people and grew up with my closest friends here. Chinatown pride!

  • @aznmmv00 I always like to visit this area when I get to Philly. Sadly, my sister who lived close by in Washington Square has moved back to Jersey!

  • Philadelphia is a great place to go too. I also live in chinatown and I admit it is a great place with chinese food.

  • @kevinmo112 I agree!

  • Would I be able to find colored contacts in Chinatown??? I'm looking for white colored contacts, the creepy looking ones. :)

  • @Sbrck5 I don't know but it's possible. I've never shopped for those so I can't really say. Thanks for watching!

  • @Sbrck5 It's a little late for me to comment but i know in some of the stores mostly clothing or cosmetics, they sell contacts that are circle lenses. Circles lenses usually have different colors. Hope that helps.

  • @XmikkimobileX Thanks! I've been searching for those as well! You're a life saver! :D

  • Phillies Chinatownfood is amazing, the real deal, so prepare your senses, it's not American Chinese at all.

  • @backtoharmony I like it, too! Although I admit I lean toward the American-hybrid dishes.

  • Yay! Beautiful Capture of Chinatown in Philly! One of my two most fav places in that city. I have never seen the Jade Dragons before though. I will have to try and find them. I think i can tell where they are. For being only a couple blocks, i think Philly makes up for that with its designs. I love so many buildings there. And the food is remarkable! I will drive 20+mins from Jersey, just to eat there!

  • @Kayiko I like it there, too. I buy produce there every time I visit from Jersey. I like looking at the squids hanging in the windows, too. :)

  • so is Chinatown in Philadelphia as grand as the one in NYC?

  • @timosha21 It's not as big but it id grand in its own way. :)

  • @NaturalTwentyFilms have you ever been to Boston? If so is Philadelphia have a better Chinatown than Boston (in your opinion)

  • @timosha21 I lived in Boston for a long time and ate in Chinatown once in a while. The Chinatowns in Philly and Boston are pretty comparable.

  • @NaturalTwentyFilms

the one in Boston seemed a little rundown...and a little unsafe. Do you get the same feeling in Philadelphia Chinatown?

  • @timosha21 Well, I've only been to Chinatown in Philly during the day, when it's busy, so it seems fine. I have been through Chinatown in Boston late some nights and I agree, it can feel unsafe.

  • @timosha21 i know your comment is 2 months old, but i wanted to say, I live by Philly and i am in Chinatown a lot. One time i had to walk through at around 1-2am because of a bus, and I felt safe. Nothing felt shady or scary to me. However, it could be because I live here and I am comfortable in some parts of this city at night. I was around NYCs Chinatown at night, and felt scared. I did not know it though, so that could be why i felt unsure.

  • @timosha21 Phillies China town is 100% safe 24/7, lived here all my life and ate there all round the clock, even at 4 am and never felt unsafe once. The people of Phillies China town are very cool & the area 100% comfortable, and is always expanding. It's very old & historic.

  • @timosha21 Unfortunately it's just not as big as the sweet NYC one. The only China town that can beat NYC's is of course San Francisco's China town. Now that's a China town that goes on from, what feels like miles, not just blocks. Check that China town out & you'll be spoiled for life. Unnbelievable! I'm a Philly native.

  • my grandma and aunt live there i go there alot too

  • I am anxious to go back again soon.

  • The Fo Shou Temple looks pretty nice! I really like the dragon pillar. If I once had the chance to go to North America, I would visit an old Chinatown like in Philadelhia...

  • I hope to go back there in January. It'll be cold but the food will be warm!

  • I'm going there for my birthday this weekend! ^^

(My b-day's actually this Wednesday, but it's easier to go on the weekend.)

  • Have fun! It's a great place to visit!

  • i go there every week :D

  • I've been there once and it was a good time. :)

  • The Jolly Green Buddah kinda reminded me of Jabba The Hut from Star Wars. Our local Chinese restaurant has a red one. I guess it must have gotten a sunburn or something.

  • You need to keep a coat of sunblock on those guys!

  • I like how they've dressed up the American-Style buildings with the Chinese architecture.

  • They do a great job at making the area look unique, for sure.

  • we went to the chinatown in vancouver, the food was great

    love and respect

    scotty and libby:0)

  • I love the meat on a stick!

  • With the jade buddha and the dragons, no need for giant robots on that day! lol Beautiful place! I'm always fascinated by the carvings! Looks like you had a nice site seeing trip...and you remembered your cam, which is something I tend to have with me, but forget to take it out and take video or pics! LOL

  • There were definitely lots of sites to admire in that area of Philadelphia.

  • Niiice. I have a fondness for dragons... was the mascot in HS (big surprise) dragon. Lived in a castle in College in Philly... Born in the year of the Dragon... I sense a theme. I had no idea big green dragons had invaded the city. Who knew??!!

  • I love dragons, too, and was also born in the year of the dragon! Woot!

  • Well made. The unexpected side to Philli. Luv it. Blesings FLETCHER

  • Thanks for watching. Y;know, I've lived inmany cities and it's amazing the little hidden gems you can find if you take the time to explore.

  • You are a buddhaing documentary maker for sure.

I like the building with the funny hat on

  • You can't go wrong with a funny hat!

  • but usually you need a spinn round bow-tie, big shoes and a flower that squirts water and this video worked without all those embellishments I thought

  • Good to hear. The local embellishment emporium went out of business what with all our economic troubles over here.

  • Charming! What did you eat?

  • Come to think of it, I didn't stop to eat. I kept seeing things that looked good but then I'd think, first I'll get more video. Then, before I knew it, I was exiting Chinatown out the opposite end.

  • Dragon on a stick!! Yum... :)

  • Make mine extra crispy!
