Landis does not deserve being in the hall of fame. Talk about someone who has dishonoured baseball, he perpetuated the worst blight in baseball history.
One of the very greatest who ever lived. Golly, he hit like blazes: .407 one year and .420 another. He was unbelievable with that bat. Really, you had to see it to believe it.
Look at Judge Landis and that contrived, gruff, hard-ass expression on his face ... what an ass. Contributed more to the segregation in baseball for the first half of the century than is popularly attributed to him ... which is hardly any.
Zack Wheat was From Polo Missouri its a small ass town was related to one of y friends,..our baseball field is named after Zack Wheat,..wow i am really bored lol
@jess06 ..all white dude league also..if i was a ball player i would wana play wit the best of all races... but i guess no one really wants too know the truth!
If I could go back to any decade in the 20th century, it would have been the roaring 20's.
Talk about simple.

Some absolute greats. Wheat, gorgeous George Sisler, Rogers Hornsby. Nice little video.

I never knew George Sisler was a player-manager, it never mentions anything like that in the hall of fame database or his hall of fame profile.
