It's a shame how Smallville producers keep putting Clana through challenges, tearing them apart and reuniting them again without a true happy break.
SV lost its soul this season; it's not conveying human values like it did in the past. The producers wanna satisfy all shippers with twisted plots and scenes... They ruined the beautiful friendship between Lana & Chloe.
They made a dark season with rarely real funny moments like in season 6. All the actors looked constipated and stuck in a circle and many episodes seemed disjointed.
They wasted potentials to show more continuity (ex: we don't really know if Clark is aware of the HARM Lex did to Lana...) & Dark Lana was totally out of character. So many things still unresolved or not clear enough. Plus of course the huge waste of CLANA astounding chemistry.
Thank you so much for your awesome comment! SV def. lost it's soul, it's way too painful to watch. I loved Chloe and Lana's friendship, but it just all of a sudden washed away. Clana chemistry was completely wasted... the strain is evident on everyone because none of the actors look like they are having fun anymore. SV has run into the ground it seems. I wish they would have ended it when it was good, then I wouldn't have to remember it like this. :(

yeah i was disappointed with the finale, compared to previous finales it had nothing.

I definitely agree. The whole last half of the season lacked something... it didn't have the same kick Smallville used to have.
