Just my opinion, but instead of getting out of the car and chasing the guy on foot running down the tracks, he should have stayed in the car and run him over.
And if the cop chose to shoot the suspect running, he should not have shot him dead but shot him in the leg to disable him.
Now the guy who pointed the gun at poor Agnes, he should have been shot dead.
Obviously it worked since the security cameras were not installed at the time of the incident however a convenience store cam caught a different glimpse of what happened.
I think Nick@Nite should play these they play a ton of old shows and even if they can't get a newer version on, these re-runs could really help ppl learn things as they do in some of the beg. of other episodes.
They do need to bring this show back. Everyone says there's no need for it because everyone knows 911 already. But the new focus should not be on how to call 911, rather it should be aimed for educating people when NOT to call 911. That might end all the stupid calls for people calling 911 for misplaced orders at Burger King.
This is why most criminals lose in cop v.s. criminal w/ guns scenarios. Most criminals are usually uneducated about firearms, and when someone points a gun back at them, their adrenaline flies like crazy and when they finally find the nerve to squeeze the trigger, they usually miss their targets, or they forgot to work their gun the right way.
Granted though, most criminals know how to handle firearms and can handle high stress situations. And sadly, many officers have died at their hands.
humm, I'm no firearms expert but it looked like the suspect had a 9 and both officers had 357's. A 9mm round would have a hard time penatrating a windscreen whereas the officer's weapon had no problem at all, feel free to comment on this if im wrong though...
This isn't going back on air, it's been of since '96, that's about thirteen years. It was only fourteen episodes too. That's what I don't get, it ran from '89 till '96 and only fourteen episodes? That's what it says on imdb anyway.
this show is so addicting... i miss watching this as a kid :( put it back on air!!!, but it probably wouldn't be the same without the 80's hair & clothing.. not to mention those HUGE glasses i feel at least one person is wearing in every episode! lol
Right at 07:59 I was like YEAAAAH!!!!!!!! But as soon as they said they were taking him to the hospital I was like Huh? No Way! He should have been shot dead! I hate when people get abducted!!!
thats a nice 1986 Plymouth reliant k that they were driving its a nice blue color to bad its driven by a couple of robbers whatever they have good taste in cars k cars are awesome!! lol
Are you kidding me? THe officer had the right to shoot, but thankfully he didn't. Who knows when the trigger is pulled? After that, it's impossible to dodge a bullet. Use your head!
when police use their firearms its not to kill the hostiles. When Police use their weapons its to incapacitate. When the suspects are incapacitated they have to get medical attention.
"So do you think the cop shot him enough times? Geeze!"
No. He should have unloaded his weapon into that piece of shit.
Also, the first cop should have shot the first piece of shit that ran away. By letting the piece of shit run away from the scene, he left the scene where the hostage was, and she's lucky to have survived the subsequent kidnapping.
well take into consideration that revolvers have to be loaded with the bullets individually.but the uniformed officer shirley was there so the situation was under control
Just by the way they look and talk. I wouldn't know if their plans were to rob me. However I can judge what people I would want working at the company or would have a chance of being hired.
WOW. THat was a great segment. Like a cop show. Im surprised that the cops on foot didn't shoot the guy in the white T, cuz he was pointing at the cops.
Yeah, twice. I would have shot him If I were the cop following him. He's barley over the line between bravery and stupidity, but he must have felt he would have been able to "win" if the suspect had opened up on him.
Considering the fact too many kidnappings have involved some kind of sexual abuse, I think anyone who kidnaps another person should be automatically charged with attempted rape (which carries up to life imprisonment in the UK) as well as a kidnapping charge
I don't know about the UK, but that cannot happen in the US. You can't charge someone with a crime unless you can prove they did it, so we can't automatically charge them with rape.
I never said you could - but you SHOULD be able to - because of the fact that too many kidnappings result in such a crime and/or are for the purpose (or partial purpose) of such a crime - so they should be charged with attempted rape.
From what I hear, we need 3000 votes for DVD release to be considered a possibility. I have 1000 subscribers and there are only 500 votes. It would be a shame if I had to withold segments until the vote count doubled.
Do you remember anything about the segment where a woman with a baby in the car crashed and they couldn't find the baby? I think it may have floated away in a creek or something. That's one of the few segments I've never seen. It was on the same episode as the woman who had a heart attack at a supper club (which I have also never seen).
He got roller blades for a his birthday a day early, and he was skating around the neighboorhood showing his friends. He was skating on the sidewalk on the way back, and there were tall bushes or trees at the corner of the intersection so he didn't see the water truck coming. He tried to stop, but he fell and slid under the truck and the back tires rolled over him. This was segment right before the one where the teen died from butane.
I don't think the officer could shoot. The first time in the parking lot there were bystanders around. The second time there was traffic behind the suspect on the Interstate. If he missed the suspect he might have hit one of the cars.
