Here, my boss is adamant that we close the lids, I really don't know why it matters... As far as I'm concerned, leaving them open is a good way to show where you've been, so if some numbskull puts their trash out late, they know their side of the street has already been done, and won't be able to call and claim they were missed. Just like when we threw trash manually, we'd leave the lids overturned for that reason.

AWESOME!!! Definitely to super rare finds, lucky that you could see one! Love it when there's variety in what trucks come per week! Just hearing a different one down the street...so cool!! Thanks! I know, I got very lucky! It's mostly a variety of drivers that pick up garbage. THey come either in an amrep or a McNeilus. I'm not that close to the City. cd8100 is in the City and has curbtender footage. Check out his vids. Your welcome for the vid(s)! Thanks again!

Much different to the Ozzie side loaders,and from what I can see,they seem to be a better and more rigid design.The nippers have no straps,and I`m sure they don`t snap off like the ones I used to work with.....hahahaha..

Wow! What a nice catch! I love how it flips the lids, just barely. How you mentioned how you said you used to follow this on your bike reminds me of when I used to chase the two, rare Consolidated Disposal CP Pythons back when I was 10, those were the good days. Also I remember when WM took over the route I saw a truck that was not yet painted (grey). 5***** n fave.

Thanks! I got very lucky! It does flip some lids, but better than none! Yes, I did follow this truck, not every week though, he would help the driver that did my area when he finished his route. He was close by. Too bad youtube wasn't around then. Would have been awesome to see that!!

I don't know. almost every week there is a different driver, or the same driver in a different truck.

We used to, but they changed the routes and got new drivers. The second week of the route change the guy who collects garbage fell and had to have surgery, and we have had different drivers for garbage almost every other week. Same drivers, just they come in a different truck sometimes.

Oh we sometimes have a peterbilt mcneilus with the same as on the mack mcneilus or sometimes a newer heil international
