i have 2003 sp as arcane, so ya thats with the sp boost from INT, and i do 4.5k on average 5k on patch. :) all about rotation

my mage does up to 4.6k dps with 2 tier 8.5 and 213-226 item lvl gear. i go for spell power gems and crit ones then sp enchants. for ur rotation u want 3xAB barrage. but if the missile barrage procs durin th stacks stack uo then use it and if it goes after a barrage do one stack then use it

My mage only has about 2k dps and my gear is pretty much almost all 7.5 and im in full epics....I should have way better dps, I am fire spec atm. What do I need to spec to and what rotation??

maybe u sue the wrong enchanting or sockets best u google about that im a 80 mage too but i do 2k dp without good gear im farming gear....but dont have much epics

oh no, my gems and enchants are perfect, Its SP its not that at all....its my rotaion I think idk. I acually fixed it up a bit and now I have 2.6K dps.....but I have 2 tier 8.5 and tier 7.5!!! I should be at 4k! I just dont no....(well im at 2.6k on target dummy) and 3k in raids....i dont get it...

heya im a arcane mage on Ner zhul, i was just wondering whats better to stack ? I went for haste + sp and atm im at 635 haste with 2234 sp.

Im pulling about 5k in 10mans and 5.5k+ dps in 25mans. just wanted to know if theres anything i can do to better my dps.

just switched to arcane from frost and i love it, just wondering does it help to make a macro to use PoM and ur SP trinket at once? and also when is the best time to pop arcane power ??( thanks for the tutorial vids)

In my opinion there's no need to make a macro but if it helps you I don't see any reason why you shouldn't do it. Arcane Power goes nice with trinket procs but shouldn't be saved until then due to the small cd of 1.4 min.

Best time you could possibly use AP is during Heroism/Bloodlust.

ok so today i just leveled to 66 and i did a dps test on a dummy, i would use PoM then arcane blastx1 then AP then 2 more arcane blasts, arcane barrage (arcane missles) u know that rotation... i was doing about 1014 dps do u think that is good? thanks i will post my armory if u want it thanks a lot u are a lot of help :D

you should just do Arcane Blastx3 then arcane barrage and pop AP when you feel like it since your only 66 but dont pom at the start of a fight

I always use my PoM on my third AB, since it has the increased damage and the 30% increased crit chance on top of that. Then open your next line of AB's with AP active.

Thanks. Well, more AB result in mana problems in later progress of the fight. Thus, I wait until the boss is <10% hp and use more AB then. I could do so before, what will raise my dps for sure, but it would be much more problematic for me when I go oom.
