  • is it hard to fly an airplane like that?

  • No, not at all.

Just have to remember to drop the gear before you enter down wind.

  • the comanche 250...at 21 inches and 2350 rpm..it indicated 165 mph

  • At altitude and push the throttle forward, it easily exceeds 185.

    At 22in and 2250RPM it does 165.

  • our numbers are pretty close....38pop was a verry clean comanche...new paint...new prop....fresh major....21..2350.....165 indicated

  • that took me back........back to the days when i was the kid that hung out at the airport......there was a guy named MAX BURKHALTER and he had a 1959 comanche 250....it was green and white.....i can still hear it.....COMANCHE 5838POP..TAKIN OFF ON 36...OR 18...DEPENDING ON WHICH WAY THE WIND WAS BLOWIN....AT WINCHESTER....AND AFTER I SOLOED HE LET ME SIT IN THE LEFT SEAT....I FLEW THAT AIRPLANE A BUNCH.....THE COMANCHE IS A FINE AEROPLANE AND A VERRY FOND MEMORY OF MY EARLY DAYS

  • what an amazing airplane, i hear they are the best and you fly yours well good pilot
