  • Any tips on finding gold deposits/pockets? I know how to pan and sluice, and the process. Just confused on the locations of gold..

  • Nice job on the sluice, here is my homemade bucket classifier... enjoy... Lofreco Channel

  • Great video! I am just finishing up construction of my first sluice box, and I decided to incorporate some drop trap grooves to see how well they recover the gold.

I'm making my box out of 2x12, and it is ~53" long. I have 11 inches slick, leading to a half inch wide, half inch deep "picker trap" with the back "wall" of the groove being cut at 30 degrees. Then 6 inches vinyl mat, leading to drop traps - 1/4", 1/2, 1/4, leading to 32" expanded metal over 27" carpet and 5" miners moss-like pads.

  • How did you make that??

  • how did you make this?!? pls tell me :) ive wanted drop rifle sluice for a while but dont want to buy one

  • @SuperNinjaleprechaun There is a link in the top description of the video that shows how to make one.

  • Didn't see n e gold on rubr mat waz up? cool though.

  • very nice! Do you have a link on how you made this? I was thinking about making a mold out of wood and pouring plastic or rubber into it to make some synthetic sluices.

I like the random riffle design too. That way you know what riffle works best.

  • Ya we hit a nice pocket that the dredgers had missed that day, I think it was around 3 grams or so at the end of the day.

  • How much gold was in your sluice man, looks like alot!!!
