also ich fahr zur zeit den e350 cgi baujahr dezember 2007 der geht richtig gut. bin mal die neue e-klasse auch 350 cgi gefahren leider als combi un muss sagen der hatte sau wenig power man drückte aufs gas nix kam, obs am combi lag? er hatte wenigstens die amg austattung aber das wars auch un optisch gefällt mir die neue "E" auch nit von daher der vorgänger = WIN

@niki6eto0 The class is much more than the frame its built on. Horse power, drive train, engine size, luxury, etc. I can assure you, the E 350 is NOT comparable to a 3 series beamer... at all. 3 series BMW's are taxi cabs in Germany, while the E 350 its a sports/luxury car.

Nicht ganz!

CGI bedeutet zwar "Charged Gasoline Injection" - aber zumindest nicht bei dem 350 CGI! Der 180 CGI / 200 CGI / 250 CGI sind "Charged Gasoline Injection" (Also Tubro Motoren) mit Einspritzung! Der 200 CGI und 250 CGI sind Doppel-Turbo Motoren, der 180 CGI hat nur einen Turbo!

Der 350 CGI ist ein V6 Motor mit Einspritzung aber ohne Tubro! Mit dem Modellwechsel 2011 wird es aber einen 300 CGI geben der einen Turbo hat und den 350 CGI ablöst mit nur 3.0 Liter Hubraum V6!

@krisdaman82 Allerdings stellt sich das getriebe bei einem kick down automatisch auf s um...also das heißt für den moment hat es die gleiche schaltzeit....und der s modus ist ja nur dafür da das wenn man runter schaltet die drehzahl länger gehaltenn wird um mit mehr bums aus der kurve zu kommen

yea, the 335i is much faster....moreove so is the 535i aswell....a nice 306hp with the new 8speed auto box. But meh. anything that does 0-100 in 10 seconds is sufficient.

0-100 about 7.something seconds. With all that engine, all that transmission, RWD, it accelerates the same as a 1.4 turbo fiat bravo. Also, people who are saying here this car would go faster without the TC, do you see the triangular TC sign blipping? no, it is turned off. Also, since when does the ESP has had an effect in acceleration? if you are not on sport mode in these cars, it doesn't rev that much.

I believe we're not really arguing here at all... Nobody will deny that the E Coupé is a very good car (and I've tried it) - but the 335i Coupé is a great car, that's the difference for me. The old CLK 350 just felt a little bit faster, but the new one is much more like it in terms of handling , steering, suspension, noise, and interior. Bt it leaves you a bit cold, like its not all living up to the expectations. Still, the BMW is so much cooler than the Merc-I know what I'd spend my money on

what else is it supposed to be than a kickdown? Seriously, what a silly argument. Anyways, it being honored as best car in the world is nothing else than yet another subjective comment on the car. Fact is it looks like a grandfather's car, its driven by grandfathers and I've driven it and think its too expensive and too ugly in and out. It's not against Mercs, I drive one myself which is great. By the way, at 19secs, the LESS expensive BMW 335i is already beyond the 200km/h. It's slow, period.

I do know it's not the best performance..how can it look like a grandfather's car?!?beauty is subjective, but if a jury awarded it there should be a common reason..too expensive?it just have optionals that in the 335 you pay extra and optionals that BMW doesn't even have..merc is 0,6 secs slower than the 335 but fuel consumption is 0,5 liter/100km better, it's 70 kg heavier(safety), better refined,bigger boot,it's the most aerodynamic in the world and it's euro5!! I would choose the merc... ;)

Real 0-100 in 7 seconds, 0-160 in 19 sek is not exactly terribly fast. Alright, it's a mercedes, not a BMW, and for a Merc its probably an okay time. Will never sound as good as a BMW flat-6 either.

that's not a kickdown...with the right settings (sport, traction control off, esp of) and a good start it does 0-100 in less than 6...the specs say 6,4...not 7...
