Theres not to much smoke. But quite a bit for a 6.0.  We have an old 93 dodge cummins. An 01 7.3. And a 03 6.0. There all prety good motors but when it comes to mods and smoke cummins is the easyest and the cheapest

idk man, I think it still sounds better than a cummins, I love the engine noise of the cummins, but the exhaust, drives me nuts, same tune, no matter what, no compression chatter to turn heads, no depth, just moving air with a low frequency rumble. I drive my father in laws cummins once in a while, he has the SR delete, and a 4" MBRP turbo back straight pipe, idk, it must be me, I live in Cheyenne, WY, where I hear the kids in daddy's cummins blowing down the streets every day.
