hi- i had the pleasure to hear and meet Rock when my stepfather played with him in Norway. I as wondering if theres any clip with Mr. Donnie Mack playing somewhere.
I am looking for any music recording when Rock Bottom played with Nick Danger and the Heat in the Sarasota area circa 1970's. My late brother Gary, aka Pork Chop played with Nick Danger and the Heat along with Glen, Diddy Wah Diddy who has passed also. Michael, Rev Boneshaker also played during this timeframe. Anyone who may any recordings please contact me. Thanks Terry
@chiefshack ~ Nick Danger & The Heat were one of the most entertaining bands I had the privilege to hear and see. They were the Blues Brothers before the movie came out. Sorry to learn of the passing of your brother. I believe Rock referred to him as 'Professor' Pork Chop. Your brother, an excellent guitar player, was part of something very special while it lasted. I still run into Boneshaker from time to time. I sure hope you find some recordings.
Rock Bottom was my Great Uncle, we miss him dearly- thank you for posting the video, I have none of my own. May he Rest in Peace, all that knew him loved him! <3
Truly one of the last great gentlemen of blues! Love ya Rock. ("Bring beer.") lol Betcha he's havin' a cool one behind those pearly gates right now. (sniff)
Played with Rock in the 1990s in England for several tours and I have to say he was my favourite frontman ever. Loved the guy - he's sorely missed. Smudge

@trynet77 I've only seen Donnie once since he went to Norway.... I've got a few cassettes we did live, both with Rock and Mercy Road....
