Thanks for the compliments, swapped out stock engine for another sb 350 with a pretty agressive cam, also changed over to headers and 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust straight back with no cat converters. Also put in a 3.73 posi rearend.
Yeah, the stock 350 in my '79 sure can't do this. I also have the 2.70 rear end it came with. Guess i should start workin huh? haha. Love the video man.
Oh, and any suggestions or ideas you could give me to amp up my camaro, I would appreciate.
@CamaroDrummer69 sorry if this is too long ago but if you haven't already dumped the 2.73's a posi 3.73 is probably the best all around gear ratio. that would help dramatically, i went from worst of worst; 2.41 open to 3.08 posi, it was an amazing differentiate.
@sfmex I have nearly 400 and the rebuilt trans just killed itself, but i have heard of way more power going through them just fine. I'd say if you can throw 320hp at it, go for it. just be aware it may become a ticking time bomb. i had mine rebuilt for $500 and now its capable of holding around 600hp. but it is usually not hp that kills the trans its torque and a lead foot. good luck man.

@rodandpiston before anything was this a 3 speed car or the man 4 speed? because my 78Z with the 3 speed came with the 3:73 gears
