In an interviews withe the Court Yard hounds , EMily said that they are " still together" and Natalie just wanted time to spend with her family - the sisters were writing songs and decided to form their new duo as a creative release . I sure hope that it is true that they are still together as a group and just taking a break because they are phenomenal together .

Let me guess here, the Carrie Underwood version was the one you heard first so therefore that makes it the better one. Maybe it's just the way you got used to hearing it and now the Dixie Chicks version sounds different.
