So i've got a 24c02 programmer working with ponyprog. Hooked up the SDA/SCL lines on the psone screens eeprom. It lets me read/write the contents ok. But How to i change the offsets 1Ch-1Fh to bring up the osd mode?
Okay so apparently, if you press volume+ (rightmost button) it gets out of that aging mode and into the main OSD menu where you can control tint, input brightness, contrast, etc.

lol debug mode, weird that it worked at all with what basically equals a blank EEPROM

As it turns out, the PSOne screen programs the EEPROM on first boot, so it's not empty after a boot :D
