@bleuscorpio I just watch a recent interview with Hitch that was conducted two days ago. He looks rough. It's quite depressing, but I hope he pulls through for just a little longer.

Hitchens has been the biggest influence on my life. During the point in my life when I was sitting on the fence between faith and reasion, I discovered his debates online one evening. He was the greatest teacher I never had who inspired my love to seek knowledge and taught me to think for myself. Thank you, Hitch!

I discovered Hitchens for the first time one years ago when he debated the catholics together with Stephen Fry, and I honestly thought the man was around 40, perhaps 45. And the next time I heard of him, he was 61 and had cancer - what the hell! I thought. One can only hope he beats it and have a few years left. He seems to have a strong body.

I heard Hitchens tonight on the Hugh Hewitt show and he is as insightful and precise as ever. Oddly, it gave me chills to hear him which I assume was a result of his diagnosis. He was also particularly reflective and sentimental, even more so than other Hitch 22 promo interviews. Oh well, get better and keep fighting the good fight.
