UPDATE: Bridges McRae Pleads Guilty - McRae faced a maximum of ten years in prison for the civil rights offense, but his plea deal included incarceration for 24 months. However the sentencing hearing has been set for January 2011. The judge will have the final say on sentencing. McRae also pled guilty to one count of tax evasion.
The jury is currently deadlocked. It looks like some won't convict a white police officer for beating a black "tranny", regardless of circumstances. The beater is claiming self-defence, that he's the victim here.
There have been no developments in Duanna's slaying, and is not being actively pursued.

While the sentiment is much appreciated by the narrator he really should have been schooled in the proper usage of pronouns and references to transgender people and in particular a transgender woman. There is no consistency. The narration of the video is done well enough but it could have been so much better had those considerations and basic human dignity been provided Duanna Johnson.

@tomcwa I appreciate your narration, but I believe what a7pointstar was referring to was your reference to her being a cross dresser. Everything I've seen so far she was a trans women (transsexual). Transsexuals identify as the opposite gender than what was marked on there birth certificate, were as a cross dresser does not identify as the opposite gender. Hope this helps.
