Why do people always want the first album again and again. I prefer my artist to mature their sounds, take themselves and their listeners new places. I absolutly LOVE every song by Beach House

I think the Itunes EP is amazing. Some of it is even more reverby than Devotion I think...in a trip/hop kind of way. The new take on Norway is more up my alley than the Teen Dream version. I dig pop Beach House...they're cut out for it fairly well, they're terrific songwriters. But yeah...the actual Teen Dream album...nothing like the first two records.

@SgtShaft666 haha, because musical opinions are completely subjective, I'm saying all this in a tongue-in-cheek manner. Obviously, they have moved on from their days of heavy soaked reverb and grandiose layering. I think they're really creative, and I enjoy their new stuff. It just seems like the older stuff had more imagination and spontaneous inspiration. Seriously, songs like "Saltwater", "You Came To Me", "Turtle Island', and "Heart of Chambers" are way more charming than this new stuff.
