I am a teen in the US and was drawn to weed through it's use as medicine. The fact that weed makes you feel better about yourself and helps you get through your life is great and all but it contradicts the purpose of Islam as it is habit forming.

It is not a matter of marijuana being harmful towards you or not. Even though, yes it is harmful if inhaled by use of smoke and flame. The only major negative effect of it would be that it makes you not care about anything. You're not bothered at school or work and you feel a sense of euphoria. Are you telling me that we are now going to conform to what the American liars tell us to do? For centuries Muslims used cannabis for spiritual reasons. Allah (swt) put this plant here for a reason. I'm not lying. Lying would be if I said it was written in the Quran or Muhamad (SAW) used to use it. All I did was mention its many benefits and the fact that it does not harm your health nor intoxicate you. For those reasons I believe it is not haram.

cannabis are harram because it destroys ur nerveouse system, it damages ur short term memories, after u smoke hashish it can put u 18 hours of sleep leaving no time to perform prays, or work or doing something for ur self. it kills ur erections and I can go on and on but in short whatever is bad for ur life is haram and whatever is good for ur life is halal.
