The new version of this song definitely grew on me. And they still put on an amazing show. Their album is definitely top ten of the year; I've been bumping Havok, Skeletonwitch, Machine Head a ton but Generation Why? keeps finding its way into my CD player and hogging up all my driving time.

Diamond Plate fuckin destroys here. The album is very good but it definitely lacks the speed of their earlier days. I was thrown off by it but after several listens I can honestly say it is good but not what their core audience expected. If they kept playing songs at this type of speed, or even if a FEW songs on their album were like this, then they would have pleased their fans so much more. I remain optimistic that they will wow on the next one; their debut will leave you with desire.
