This song is so incredible lyrically and written by Miranda at a young age. It's a song about a renegade guy who can't grow up. Here is a guy who is 33 and can't settle down. His mama's only son who is off living wildly and he's too scared to hold the hand to lift him up. HIs nephew looks up to this guy. His family is all praying for him. What about Georgia? Georgia is the simple life he grew up with and the values taught by his family. Now he is finally figuring out what is important in life.

I might be far out here but I think the meaning of this song is about some guy she loved who left her and said he wanted to live life on the edge and she tried to help him because he was living on a ledge...not ready for the life in the wild wild west ..So she is asking him to talk further about his journeys and she choose Georga..Further his Mom is praying for him and his Dad was always pushing him and he believes he's the bullet in his Daddy's Gun....Terrific song !
