Nic: great video. I recognize the crossing at Chicago Rd., as they had put in the continuous bell since I last lived there. My grandparents lived near the Euclid Ave. crossing, which was my spot for watching trains as a kid. I'd love to see more videos from the Chicago Heights area, if possible. Keep up the great work.
Nice P5 horn! I live not too far (maybe a mile to a mile and a half) from an ex-Southern branch in Virginia Beach, and the trains were usually led by either an ex-Southern high-hood GP38-2 or a GP38-2 rebuild unit. The reason I say they "were" led by them is because the line is now abandoned, and has been for about five or six years now. I think we're supposed to get a light rail system (called "The Tide") by the year 2010. Boy, do I miss chasing the trains up the boulevard.
I used to always see CN trains on the Western Subdivision (mainly taconite), but that was a few years ago. This was the Eastern Subdivision. When I heard the horn, I had no idea what it was. LOL.
Nothing beats SD60F's if the roadnumber is 5555! Check out my video responce!

SD60fs are like hot dogs or gold. They are some of the best locos ever produced by gmd in my opinion.

I hate those engines. I also wish CN never used the Zebra Stripe Paint Scheme.

I'd take the stripes over the "URL" any day
