Damn i knew this game was going to be hit just from the pics at the time. i forgot about the game for wii..,did it ever hit the US? the games sound track is pretty damn hot. I looked up the music i had in a mugen stage i downloaded a while ago. i thought was hot and it was from this game...ill have to get this fuckin game now

It looks ok, but so far I haven't seen anything that would suggest this was something more advanced than an SNES game. While sidescrollers are what I grew up on, I expect more if I'm gonna shell out sixty bucks a pop.

i agree, it does have that snes like look to it, but i see that as part of its charm, its got such a crisp look, so retro yet fresh at the same time as its not trying to be all realistic and shit, its retro charm is what, to me, makes it worth the money, combined with simplistic gamepplay, which is very easy to get used to, it makes for a truely impressive game

WOW! And I thought Odin Sphere looked good... this almost makes me want to buy a Wii lol. I played the hell out of Odin Sphere on PS2 which makes me wonder how this ended up being a Nintendo exclusive game when it would get 10 times the copies sold on the PS3. The artwork alone is enough to make you drool but then you throw in badass gameplay and a deep story and you've got the sleeper hit of '09 for sure. I LOVE that move at the end of a fight when Kisuke throws his sheath in the air!

yea I bought a wii just for this game, Ive played most of vanilla wares games Princess crown,Grimgrimoire,Odin Sphere I even bought a wii JUST to play this game! I thought it was a bad decision to make this wii exclusive they should release it for the ps3 and 360 because this company really do deserve more recognition....everything they make looks like the devs have put hours and hours into making it into a pristine game!

Humm.. Is Z Button used in this game? C button could be Jump (like SSBB) and Z Button could be Sword Change.. Jumping by using the Analog Stick is annoying and sometimes i press C to jump.. -.- Nice game though, i like those Aerial combos :D

i only have 2 real complaints about this game.

the backgrounds are reused so often that the game does not have the feeling of a real interconnecting world, like Metroid or Castlevania.

also the absence of the option to use a jump button. in sidescrollers A is jump and B is attack, this has been ingrained into my brain over the years, and pressing up is just awkward and even unresponsive at points.

but these hardly break the game. Muramasa should be played by all Wii owners.

I think all the consoles have beautiful graphics. But I don't care about graphics at least all the time, because I still play 16 bit games and 64 bit games. Some systems more advanced and some don't. i have been a little disappointed with the titles that the wii has so i'm buying a ps3 slim because their games suit me more. I got a wii but I was waiting for a price drop of some sort from sony because ps3 was crazy expensive.

Actaully, the only real stratagy in Odin sphere was to try to line up and many enemies as you can and eathier use Naplam, Poisen or Phozon burst or Cycole, (also depends on the character arc)

Bosses (or atleast some)however require more stratagy(like brigan for example) unless your super overleveled (sypher wise) then Odin sphere is kinda easy, Muramasa on the other hand Musou is relativily easy while Shura is a bit harder.
