Metal does not suck. It takes quite a bit of work to keep a metal band going. Look at Ozzy and Dragoforce. They are all metal and amazing. And screamo (which does not consist of bands like Thursday but more related to Grindcore style bands) is also a good choice of music. And yet again, it takes talent to play in genres like these and get noticed. Much of the guitar work in these genres are amazing, as are the drums, bass, and vocals.
I'm a Christian and I don't like a lot of christian bands, but Red is definitely one of the best bands out there, on the christian market or anywhere.

i'm not going to ask, but i can tell you one thing, any kind of music is good and bad to everyone else's opinion. Doesn't matter if they're Christian, Gothic, Irish (Okay, just went crazy there), It's all up the the person if they like it or not. And yes, I love LP music, and i know they're not Christian. I just seem to have a rep about using Christian music.

I have no problem with Christian music. I love alot of Christian bands. I listen to As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Blood Runs Black, and others of the such. I was just trying to make a point to the moron who made a comment saying that since a band isnt Christian anymore, they suck.

Since when is Red not a christian band? Read the lyrics of breathe into me. Im pretty sure they still are, thats like saying skillet isnt a christian band because they play at blue cats (which is a bar that bands play at here in knoxville) Red is on tour with Breaking ben, Three Days Grace, and Puddle Of Mudd, thats because they are all on the same label so seriously...idk what makes people think they arnt christian...but they definately still are.

Metal does not suck. It takes quite a bit of work to keep a metal band going. Look at Ozzy and Dragoforce. They are all metal and amazing. And screamo (which does not consist of bands like Thursday but more related to Grindcore style bands) is also a good choice of music. And yet again, it takes talent to play in genres like these and get noticed. Much of the guitar work in these genres are amazing, as are the drums, bass, and vocals.
