C'mon it's not a stand-up comedy but a sit-down discusion. WTF is wrong with Lewis Black? Why is he so vulgar? Does he think it makes him look funny? I think this panel would be better off when instead of him it would include Bill Bryson for example. I don't want to be a wet blanket, I must say I enjoyed the talk, but at one moment all the experts got carried away by cracking jokes and by the same token stopped thinking. On top of it the use of the f-word in this talk is way over the top.
Why why is Bruce McCall so taciturn? In my opinion president Obama does not fit as a butt for a joke because his status is simply sacrosanct, that's it. Thumbs up for Jim Holt, he's the life and soul of the panel. And I really liked the way Cody Walker tried to manage the slippy discussion.
Lewis Black always seems nervous to me. I remember seeing him in L.A. and he was really figity and used lot of profanity! I guess that's just him.
