  • How much did it cost to make this? I'd like to make one myself someday.

  • Job shop owners and machine tool operators will be talking about this new CNC from Siemens.

The CNC EyeTeam has just broken the story. Ive copied their news video on my YouTube page.

  • nice ^^ mad scientist stuff ! ! !

  • Dud you are a freakin genius. This is awsome. What CNC program were you using and what is the FPM of the CNC machine

  • Im interested in making one of these but i dont have a computer with a parallel port.

So does anyone know if one of those usb into parallel adapters would work for this?

  • Look up the SmoothStepper for usb

  • NUZZGET,

wtf? ive never heard of such a thing. no parallel port?

  • Yea i have no parallel port but i may get an older desktop computer with it. when ever i decide to make one of these.

  • @johnnytheprick its called advancing technology.. doesnt use the old crap anymoer! :)

  • and now that i think of it there's sorta two types of mills. one where the table moves and the other where the tool moves.

  • to my current knowledge (my dad programs and works with these things), there are two types of CNC machines. lathe and mill. by the looks of this (correct me if im wrong), this is a mill. im interested in building something like this.

  • nice job man...

  • wood cnc... awesome.

    I like you're precision spindle.

  • DAMN !!

    I like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is kick ass!

  • this is cool. i would have so many uses for a cnc machine. about how much did it cost to build?

  • thats amazing! you write the program yourself?

  • Try rewriting war and Peace now

  • Thanks for the vid, very nicely done. I know those stepper motors and have used em on a robot design myself. Might make my own CNC some day :)

  • that is some srs talent man, good job!

  • Tutorial?

  • might need to upgrade the dermal to a more high end heavy duty high RPM motor of some kind. that poor thing sounds like its about to drill its last hole very soon

  • Simply Genial.....Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Please send me plans and links to hardware, motors, software, and any data needed to build your machine. Nice job on your design. Thanks...Greg

  • Hi, very well made!

It seems like someone think you are from Norway? But you are from Netherland? Navnet ditt høres norsk ut.

    Anyway, your project are great!

  • you are genius.

  • 牛!!!牛人!!

  • Brilliant!

  • Cool! How accurate is this machine?

  • Awesome!

  • dit is echt geniaal

  • where did you get the parts like the bars at?

  • prachtig gedaan ; )

  • seffølgelig en norsk som greier dette :D

    Go norway!

  • Selvfølgelig!

  • can you use regular printer motors from 3 old desk top printers ?

  • are they step motors? Then yes.

  • Yes, those are stepper motors (except for the drill, of course). Very nice!

  • Hello. was searching on "CNC" and found its place at home. I ask if not quite work that sends itself via email in the project want to mount a jpg format to sell pieces of decoration and get help on my salary. thank you very much.

  • How do you set the surface?

  • U R GENIUS !!! KEEP IT UP MAN

  • i think you misspelled hello

  • It looks like the main body of the machine is made out of some kind of wood board. What kind is it?

  • looks like mdf

  • 1 word can define your job: AMAZING!

  • What did you use for drivers?

  • thats like 1 of the machines i have at my school i go to a tech school in conneticut in a city called hamden my school is called eli whitney

  • verry nie

  • Hehe wery nice.I am working on an 2*3m CNC cutting miller. But i bow to u when u made this at home.

  • did you write the program?

  • Where do u get the motors to move x , y and z?

  • printers have it!! try with EPSON!!

  • Isn't that a Dremel? That's clever!

  • spoiler: it says hallo :D

  • Thanks! :D Couldn't wait to see what it says when finished :P

  • freakin awsome

  • How much did this cost to make?

  • Is this a bridgeport

  • no this is a cnc router

  • did you are mecatronic or somethin?

  • Pretty cool...

The spindle bearings might even last til he is done with that workpiece...

  • what controls the feed and speed...

  • the speed of waht moves the dremel?

  • could anyone tell me what is that software?

  • looks like kcam from kellyware.

  • thanks.. I'm going to build one, do you have any clues to do it?

    see ya

  • I had the same issue with tip moving about when I tried a Dremel- take the dremel apart and you'll find a soft rubber bushing on the rear bearing. Replace with aluminum or epoxy and it'll help 95% of that tip flex!

  • Ziet er goed uit...ik zie philips onderdelen. Misschien moet ik ook maar eens rondkijken bij montage.

  • fucking awesome

  • wie viel geld hast du investiert??

  • THIS is a Harvard!

  • Your rpm is way too high, try the lowest setiing on that dremel.

  • Very cool.

  • how many spindles .. or dremels do u go through lol

  • are you cutting high density foam?

  • MDF - kind of non-natural wood (hard to explain...)

  • What kind of control board are you using here? Are those steppers?

  • Son steppers y estoy desesperado por aprender a usarlos

  • que clase de tarjeta estas ocupando para operar los steppers?
