Great song! Not all songs have to be heavy. That's what ticks me off about Gene's thinking that all guys should look like they belong in the same band and/or all songs should sound like they're by the same band. I personally prefer bands that have songs that have a lot of variety. Thank God, Paul liked to experiment and also that Ace and Peter occasionally got on the albums. Their less famous songs are a joy to discover and show great musicality and experimentation with different sounds.

Songs like Shandi/talk to me/ I was made for loving you, showed that the band had a sense of tenacity, keeping up with music trend, without compromising their identity.

Most of what they did after 77 was hit or miss;Creatures was good,so was Revenge,and to some degree a few tracks on Lick it up,namely Young and Wasted.But the 79-80 period was pure crap ecept maybe for Charisma.

Dynasty was a commercial success based on one shitty disco track that pissed off most rockers of my generation who went on and discovered Iron Maide,Van Halen,Ozzy,Priest,ect....

Kiss had lost a lot of their original fan base by 79.They were no longer cool,Unmasked was even worse!

No, Ace was in the band, just not playing in the studio. Bob Kulick played most of his parts on the Dynasty and Unmasked albums. When Kiss recorded Music From The Elder, Ace recorded his parts at his home recording studio and sent them to Kiss for the album. It was only when Kiss was recording Creatures of The Night when Vinnie played Aces parts on Creature. Oh, and Vinnie never officially joied the band, he hasn't signed anything to this date, to have added him as a full member of Kiss,

Look it up, man...Im a big Ace fan but it's true. Ace filed for bankruptcy in 1995 8 months before the reunion... Sonic i think is gonna be a good album. I still think Eric (Carr) is better than Peter on any day. The reunion concert was a lot of fun, but my favorite was the concerts from Crazy Nights through Revenge tours. KISS rules, no matter what line up. On a side note, when asked about Eric's version of beth, Peter was very respectful about it when people thought he was a dick. in my favs.

KISS , when they reformed had to hire Tommy Thayer to teach Ace his old licks again. When the reunion happened musician wise, it was like trading ferrari for a skateboard. Peter's skills on the drums were declining because of his personal problems....I am also in the opinion that Bruce was just as good a guitarist. I had the pleasure of seeing them both live. I like the originals, but anything with Eric Carr was my favorite! RIP Eric Carr...Rock the soul realm forever!
