Playonlinux does something that WINE devs should have done. And wine puts its crappy .desktop files... I mean WHY? After wine install, suddenly html and txt files start to open in IE and Notepad on linux. I MEAN, WTF IS THAT FOR??? There IS a solution to remove this, but its not point and click! ://
It installs automatically the direct x, libraries, and the visual +2003 2008 runtime environments (I think is the name) , and it's easy. Also you just click on it and auto downloads patches, exe's or others. But in some games not suported at the moment you have to do it manually, and if one day goes perfectly, the other no.
in my play on linux i don't have the steam counter strike or half life can you tell me why?

i just installed ubuntu 10 and got wine im dual booting so i just use my existing win7 steam install via wine it works fine played CS:S :D
