  • So where does Sr Helen stand on abortion?

  • Why does it matter? Someone can pro-life or pro-choice and still against the death penalty.

  • I'm trying to say this as peacefully and none condemning as I can, if a person is for saving a known individual capable of horrific things, how can the same person on the other hand agree to kill and unborn child? Sr Helen is in harmony on this. I would hope the majority of you would be as well.. Too many people take stands on the side of offense for the sake of being offensive..

  • Many death penalty abolitionists are pro-life. Many are also pro choice. They too consider their beliefs to be in harmony in that they don't believe in a big government that has the authority to kill its citizens or tell its citizens what they can do with their bodies.

  • According to Wikipedia she's pro-life.

  • she's pro life! yes!

  • Sr. Helen will be in Louisville Kentucky January 14-17, 2010 for the annual meeting of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty. Plan to come and hear her speak then. Join KCADP to keep up-to-date on Kentucky Coalition activities.

  • Love you Sister, you're more radiant than Sarandon
