OMG that was great when I was in the ballroom dancing program at Gretna No. 2 Academy Natalie Gomes (now Natalie Gomes-Adams) was my instructor!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bcuz of her my team won the the team routine and we were the champions.

@retrobrunettebeauty In the swing community while it is great to dress vintage it definitely isn't required. His wide pants & vest are fine, it's just a different style.

swing dancers used to dress the part, until the swing revival in the 90s, since all the new people would dress vintage. Dressing in street clothes meant that you were a good dancer and knew what you were doing. Some competitors dress vintage, but it's not a requirement. plus these guys aren't dancing old school lindy, this is a really modern number, so it wouldn't make sense for them to dress up.

Yeah, that's the way it is on the CD. Starts out with a 'skit' that is a couple in a car listening to the radio, and 'swing brother swing' comes on.

heh. Because people regularly sprain and break their legs, arms, and boink their heads trying this stuff untrained. These guys are pros to toss each other around so effortlessly, nuff said :)
