  • my second favorite godzilla track after "godzilla on the ocean floor".

  • without hesitating i can easily say, this was the most saddest ending i ever saw in any movie

  • He was just a misunderstood monster paying for mankinds sins....

  • Chokes you up inside, doesn't it folks?

  • To me this is more sadder then Mufasa's death on the Lion King. AND I LOVED THAT MOVIE TOO!!!

  • the bit with the normal theme in the background makes it worse ;____;

  • I love all of the people on this video who pretend to have seen this and cried to it, when they're just here because of that James Rolfe guy's videos.

  • @Thisismytrollingface No...I'm here because of Godzilla.

  • @Thisismytrollingface james is awesome, but thats not why I'm here, i saw this film, and i stroke some tears.

  • when i saw godzilla die and turn become nothing but bones i cryed cause i thought that was it for the king of the monsters.

  • How is it this song makes me tear up eventhough Im an adult?

  • @cea2311 you are not alone

  • this should have been in nostalgia critic's most saddest moments

  • @MrShaneo65 We should make him make another top 11 saddest nostalgic moments, and put in this, as well as the death of Optimus Prime.

  • @godzilla964 thats a good idea

  • Three people couldn't accept what happened that day.

  • @gaara1227 bro no one could.......;_;

  • @MrRayquazaking IKR!!!! i watched this and i was like: what...where is he going..... 0-0 nuuuuuu Q-Q. i cried so much when he was gone, and this music doesnt help it either Q-Q

  • @fare67t I remember watching this for the first time bro. I was 7 and it was The day I learned about life and death.

  • @MrRayquazaking Strange thing is, the more you watch something, the more you get immune to it. so i watch this alot, and the last time i thought it was abit sad, but i wasnt bawlin like the first time.

  • I watch this at least once a day to honor the Monster King.

  • Not since the original did a "Godzilla" film manage to invoke such power and emotion as "Godzilla vs. Destroyah" did. I think I might've actually teared up the first time I watched Godzilla die (I was maybe 15 or 16 at the time). Hearing this music still makes me sad to this day.

  • i cried very hard when i saw the end of the movie....Godzilla was me and my dad's favorite monster movie ever.....Im crying at this moment because this music touches my heart and i miss Godzilla....

  • i have a theory as to why milenium godzilla was so different to this one, i do not care if any one believes me but here, the first godzilla was not the only one, when he died the other one just so happened to come, leading to this one, he had a child do to him being able to reproduce on his own, and then in this movie the godzilla you see in the fog was baby godzilla was ressurected by the meltdown, but... he was the somehow mutated by it changing him in to milienium godzilla. BOOM! there it is

  • @zachbella Technically the first Godzilla, 1954, and this Godzilla are the same one. This one came from the same dinosaur only was mutated in 1991 not 1954. So it's the same dinosaur, only bigger, and meaner. The second Godzilla from 1955 until 85 is ignored by the 85 movie. Which if the original Godzilla was dead, and the 85-89 Godzilla was not that one, then getting rid of the dinosaur and bringing it back to the 1990's should have produced two Godzilla's not replaced one with the other.

  • @SWASDN thats why i have two godzillas in mine, the same dino was mutated but ther were two, the original and this one and then the rest of my theory

  • @zachbella Well officially Millennium Godzilla is separate from the Heisei series Godzilla's even Junior at the end. Still, when I saw the first film of the Millennium series I was immediately like "Wow, he looks more bad ass than his dad did." The only thing that struck me was Millennium, I do believe, is closer in size to the 1954 Godzilla, who was considerably smaller than 1991-1995 Godzilla.

  • @SWASDN yeah officially, but still i stick to mt theory

  • @SWASDN huh?

  • @zachbella Would make sense if not for the fact that the millennium series was a reboot ignoring every other Godzilla movie except for the first one. So that wouldn't be possible. Sorry.

  • @uncut7007 yeah thats why it is, hense the qotes a 'theory"

  • i will never 4get the ending, it broke my heart

  • And so it came to pass that the mighty King of the Monsters succeeded in conquering the Destroyer, the monster born of Serizawa's super weapon. But though the horrid creature lay dead in the ruins of Tokyo, fate had deemed it the last battle of the legendary King. Radiation poured from his body, and the Japanese army did all it could to suppress the meltdown. A thick fog rolled out onto the city, and from it emerged a new King, a new Gojira, who brought new life to the legend with a mighty roar.

  • NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Godzilla is dead the firt time that I saw this part of the movide and saw him died with this song it almost made me cry that tear almost fell from my eye

  • R.I.P 2nd Godzilla

    1955-1995

    We'll miss ya big buddy.

  • Sad that this to be the last godzilla movie ever made, thanks to Tristars messup, we got the millenium saga

  • Saw this when I was 10 or so. Cried. Even now when I'm 18 and seeing it yesterday, I still cried. You'll always live on in our hearts, Goji...well, and in the next movie generation.

  • And from the radioactive ashes, a new beast rose up.

  • Godzilla will never die

  • @ElGladiateur amen to that

  • @goji62varan haha, dude 2 months ain't got nothing to do with it. You still don't like Godzilla ...Who is the series. I just gotta fucking ask, why would you watch Godzilla, and then despise Godzilla, yet Love Destroyah?

  • @goji62varan Dude, get off this video. This isn't the place for that shit. and change your name, your a disgrace and a unsympathetic asshole.

  • dessutroyah

  • Love these movies since I was A kid. When I saw this one I actually got a lump in my throat. I grew up with Godzilla and it hurt to watch him go along with a part of my childhood. The music is awsome! R.I.P. Akira Ifukube.

  • I want that poster in my room. It's a new level of awesome.

  • hey dip wads you know the ending where you see a godzilla in a light thats Jr. revived by godzillas dieing radation. Jr. becomes the melinium Godzilla

  • @TrT388 No Godzilla Final Wars Godzilla is Junior

  • @Wunderwaffen1946 same thing basicly

  • @Wunderwaffen1946 No it isn't, each movie in the Millennium series has its own plot that holds no relationship with the other movies, Showa, Heisei, or Millennium. The only Millennium movie that relate to each other is the two MechaGodzilla movies as one is a direct sequel to the other.

Every Godzilla in Millennium is different from the other and has no relationship to the Heisei Godzilla or Godzilla Junior.

  • @ReroOnyx Again, I understand but the film was supposed to be GVD's sequel set 4 decades in the future but TOHO messed the chance to bring a great storyline into reality. Look at the start scene of GFW, the scene switches out between the Gojira in the ice and Godzilla Jr. mourning over his father at the end

  • Godzilla Forever! Radioactive titans like him will always be deep inside of our hearts. WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU! :'(

  • @godzilla599

    HE GETS BETTER.

  • @Maciejka0111 well no dip ive seen all the movies i was just adding a little dramatic feeling.

  • @godzilla599 Do not forget....there is still hope....Junior...

  • R.I.P. Godzilla 90's

  • @goji62varan go suck a dick

  • May this be played for Japan in their time if need. Pray for Japan.

  • I cried when godzilla died in 1995 but i laughed my arse off when he died in 1998 ROFL!!! that stupid zilla wasnt even a GODzilla :) !!! Godzilla's the most surpassed and the most astronomic monster eva!!!!!! He's not in real. but god might send a real godzilla to this world if we people won't stop marginalizing, terrorizing or racism!!

  • LOL!!! yall suck..

  • Gozilla forever!

  • @Confleezy u got it bro

  • @xenoboy908 cool story bro

  • Best Godzilla movie ever...

  • saddest moment from all films of Godzilla. I crying at this scene when I saw this scene the first time .... my childhood hero's dies :(

  • this is the best Godzilla theme in the World

Thx for the good upload ^^

  • This right here an the end of ''Godzilla 1985'' are the most emotional moment's in the entire franchise... Even at 27 years old i still kind of tear up or at-least get sad watching these scenes.

For a guy in a suit, Godzilla has become a huge Icon an will never be forgotten. His return is near once again as ''Legendary Pictures'' American Reboot comes in late 2012 or 2013.

  • @XxComablackxX1937 Amen Brother!!!! Lets hope they don't f*** it up like the other one.

  • When I first saw this movie as a little kid, I cried at this scene. It is the most dramatic thing I have ever seen. My friend hates Godzilla and laughed at this scene. I think they did a good job with this. YOU HAVE NOT LIVED UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN THIS MOVIE. :'(

  • @godzilla599 He must be a fan of Ghidorah.

  • The lead up to Godzilla's death was probably one of the most moving experiences with rubber suited monsters I ever had. When you see him die you want it to be different, the humans save him, then it just washes over you as you realize it's over. He at least was brave enough to realize it and gave his son his life.

  • @Wunderwaffen1946 You guys make me sick...

  • @goji62varan There's something wrong with you, obviously ORGA is the best monster ever! -_-''

  • Damn this is poignant and brings back memories.

  • i'm with bessiexj9 seeing GODZILLA! die is heartbreaking i've seen the movie but all his energy goes on to his son witch grows to full Godzilla size witch created well after Tristar raped the name GODZILLA 2000!

  • I shed fucking manly tears non stop when I saw this. Infact I was watching it with my GF yesterday She noticed I was crying quitely.

  • Godzilla never dies biatch, he'll be back

  • Now this is how Godzilla should if he ever does. Not like GINO.

  • Goodnight, sweet prince. :'(

  • This music is hauntingly beautiful, and saddening all at the same time. To me, it represents the end of the Heisei series (probably misspelled that one), and the end of an era for the big G. Don't get me wrong, the Millenium series has great films...but nothing hit home to me like the emotion put forth into the 90's Godzilla films.

  • godzilla the red hypergiant star

  • the nostalgia critic should put this as a top "saddest nostalgic" moment.

  • @SandyGothify

This or at least the ending of Godzilla 1985

  • Poor Goji he died D:

  • @TheUnitedPikachus dont worry he melted over where his son was the godzilla u saw in the smoke was his son now is a Godzilla like his father all he energy and life went in his son

  • I see this as one of the most cherished classic musical pieces in a few centuries from now....

and I'll also have this play in my mind IF pacquiao get pummeled by mosley...

  • Seeing my childhood hero die was heartbreaking :(

  • @bessiexj9 same but it was ok because godzilla junior survived but i will miss that godzilla

  • @bessiexj9 Amen, my friend. Amen.

  • @bessiexj9 I feel your pain my kaiju brother he will be missed.(sobs)

  • @microsoftnerd4life Im actually a girl, but yeah, I cant stand seeing Godzilla die :(

  • @bessiexj9 Sorry.

  • @microsoftnerd4life Its okay^^

  • cool.

  • @bessiexj9

I was 13 when i saw this movie almost 5 years ago, i actually cried watching it. Been watching Godzilla movies since i was 3. :(

  • why must godzilla die WWWHHHYYYYY!!!!!!!

  • I Cried Then Ran Outside And Yelled "GODZILLA FOREVER" If You Love Godzilla Run Outside And Yell Outloud "GODZILLA FOREVER" And You Will Hear Something Like A Roar In The Background... It Might Was Jr Crying For His Dad.... R.I.P Godzilla A.K.A King Of Monsters... Love You Godzilla

  • this is so sad for me so much sadness

  • i cryed a litile when godzilla died

  • Comment removed

  • @mediahellgod me too

  • @mediahellgod you cryed a litile ? a cryed a lot beli or notvet

  • cmon i always cry while listening to this

  • It's a beautiful ;D I Love that <3

One Song in The world, when I listening I crying ...

  • 3 zilla fans that need to be destroied

  • i was born the same year when he died :(

  • GODZILLA 1954-195 but came back in 2000 because of that shity american one.

  • GODZILLA R.I.P. 1954-1995 but came back in 2000 because of that shity american one.

  • don't woory juinor still lived.but still tragic.:(

  • :( waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

  • 3 people are Zilla fans. Anyway, I always cry when watching Godzilla die.

  • 伊福部昭は神。

  • 3 Godzilla movies have made me cry.

    This movie when Godzilla died

Godzilla 1985 - when Godzilla fell in the Volcano

Godzilla 1998 - because of what a pile of shit that movie was an a disgrace to an icon

  • @XxComablackxX1937

    hahaha at the last one!

  • @XxComablackxX1937

You forgot to mention the original Godzilla that died in Gojira (1954)

By the way, i agree, Zilla is a disgrace to Godzilla.

  • @XxComablackxX1937 If those are the only ones that made you cry then you need to watch the Japanese cut of the original. There is one scene in particular that literally made my heart stop for a second. Gojira is rampaging through Tokyo, and sitting inside of a tumbling warehouse is a woman consoling her children by telling them "Don't worry, we'll be with Daddy soon."

  • the only thing that makes me cry

  • Say what you want about the movie's plot, but DAMN if this wasn't the right music to send the big guy off.

  • godzilla never die in this movie. only Jr did. what are all you guys talking about xD

  • @LikeTheBang Have you not even finished the movie? Junior died by Destoroyah and at the end Godzilla melted down if you saw were a Godzilla stands up and is roaring the radiation from the Godzilla that melted down made junior come back to life.

  • @thebeastlord98 There's even a scene earlier than that which shows Godzilla resuscitating Junior by breathing radiation into his mouth.

  • @Sonic2332 Yeah, but it did not work though.

  • @LikeTheBang no the big one die..

  • i will miss you godzilla

  • I dont care if its badly dubbed or if its men in suits. I dont care if it isnt CGI or what not. This is a ledgend in its own right. I watch godzilla than any of these modern films why? Because it had emotion and feeling. I spit on twilight and romances and the action movies that try too hard. THIS is art THIS is music THIS IS GODZILLA! LONG LIVE GOJIRA KING OF THE MONSTERS!

  • He destroyed massive cities, taken countless lives, but when he died, the people still cried. That's indisputable proof of Godzilla's baddassery.

  • @TehBootie Wow.... you're right. XD lol

  • I was sad enough when Junior died, but when Godzilla died, part of my childhood went with him.

  • Farewell Godzilla....1954-1995 R.I.P my freind...

  • @sonicgodzilla but godzilla came back in 2000

  • @wadai1 I mean the original Godzilla.

  • @sonicgodzilla yes but is like it is still the soul

  • Yesterday, I watched Godzilla vs Destroyah... actually but Id watched when i was 8 or so in cinema in Japan. that was long time no see but to see...I couldnt stop crying...Godzilla's death was very shocking and sad. Whenever I see this one I will cry. Godzilla is my hero forever!

  • @MrJ1013 I wish those movies would have came out in theaters in America.....but we're not cool enough.

BUT when I can I'm going to buy all of the movies on DVD, buy a 52+ inch TV, surround sound, get some popcorn and make my own theater and relive the awesomeness that Is Godzilla.

  • @Blckspawn0

That's cool!! I also want to do so in the future, actually! But, anyway, I'm very happy to know that there are people who love Godzilla from the heart, like you. I think Godzilla is not just a monster movie, just an entertainment. I mean that Godzilla movies especially Heisei, have messages, for example vs bio. 1989 alleging clone banning and abuse chemical, vs kingghidorah 1991 critisising nuclear, vs mothra 1992 calling for environmental problems, and so on.

  • @Blckspawn0

So in my opinion, I want more people around the world to watch Godzilla movies and think about such problems. Godzilla is warning. Godzilla gives us chances to consider about our earth. But basically I love Godzilla so want them to enjoy anyway as one of the Godzilla fans!

  • the scene were godzilla's heart exploded made me cry cause thats how i felt when i saw him die

  • @Destroyahweapon When did his heart explode? I've seen the movie several times (in fact it is my favorite) but have not seen his heart explode.

  • @Destroyah931 when godzilla is melting a burst of red energy bursts out of his chest(thats his heart exploding, always tears me up)and then godzilla gives one final roar

  • @Destroyahweapon thats actually not the heart exploding thats all the nuclear energy escaping through the hide that is no longer there to hold in the immense power of Godzilla's atomic heart but in a way I guess that could be the same thing the heart exploding the energy escaping the ppoint is that the nuclear fires of Godzilla's final seconds of life brought his son back to life

  • when i was a little boy Godzilla was and still my favorite monster a long ago when i saw Godzilla Vs. Destoroyah the ending made me cry it made me feel like a great monster legend was finally over Godzilla was gone forever but thank god is not. even at this day the ending and this song still makes me cry this was a Death of a Legend, Godzilla's Legacy will never die who agrees?

  • which godzilla was created after burning godzilla died??? i cant remember even though i saw most of the movies sad face... thumbs up if you wished he still lived instead od melting.

  • i cried when my chieldhood hero died

  • thumbs up when you cry everytime you watch this movie(atleast i do)

  • @ricksvidsinc the ending still makes me cry. it feels like my hero is dying like his time is up 4 good a legend dies but not forgoting

  • i kind of do.

  • 3 ppl were crying so much dat they accidently missed the like button

  • I can't remember why Godzilla turn into burning Godzilla and finaly dies, anyone can help me?.

  • @trovaoftheucn His heart absorbed too much radiation

  • As sad as this scene was, this was the correct way to "kill" Godzilla. Having a monster or the military destroy him would've been wrong. Godzilla is an indestructable force, and the only believable way to kill him off is himself. His power became too much for his body to take, in essence he was TOO awesome, and he melted down. I cried many tears after seeing this, and the scene was done beautifully. A fitting end for a true legend, and his son will carry on his legacy. Godzilla forever!!

  • when i herd this song it made me cry

  • this is the most sadist song ever

  • No matter what I do, no matter how long it has been, I will still cry to this at 18 years old, and likely the rest of my life.. I'm sitting here going through all the comments, which is fueling
