This is pretty cool. I wonder where one would find the application for a 12 meter long hydraulic cylinder though. Is this big-ass tube going to be cut into smaller cylinders? I like hydraulics.
Very nice machine. I really like how the support stands automatically come up as the shaft is coming back. The question I have is how do you support the shaft once it is inside the bore ? Also how long can you hone without taking off the back end of the cylinder?
Amazing! Being in the same industry, I can honestly say that these guys know what they are doing when it comes to honing. It takes alot of skill and knowledge to be able to hone a hydraulic cylinder of this size. Great job guys!
Boom extension on some cranes require very lomg cylinder, 30 to 40 feet of stroke.
