I like both I rather rent the CDJS or just have one and just get used technic 1200's cause soon or later u would get all that software stuff later to add to ur collection. Another thing is this suppose the laser in a cd turntable breaks or stops working u have to pay the same price u paid for the cdj to get it fixed and with needles u can just pay 40 bucks for and keep moving. If you're a dj u suppose to move the crowd and entertain nobody wants to pay alot for a boring dj. But good video!
@CitizenofTatooine The transfer ease of digital media versus having to go broke pressing dub plates every time you record a track of your own or a remix. The pioneers as far as not sounding like digitalized crap kick the shit out of the DZ1200s unfortunately. I like everyone else wanted to believe that when Technics made a cd player it was going to take over the market and become industry standard. Instead it has just been an embarrassment for Technics and no pro wants to touch it in a club.
i find the vinyl is crisper but cdjs are more convenient i guess go with what sounds better to your ears. Im not a dj im an audiophile so i know nothing about scratching records on purpose. Anyway your awesome at djing keep up the good work
I'm looking for some help into what cdj to buy. I want something that is good for scratching and beat jugging. I know everyone is going to say get vinyl but i just sold my technics 1200s before moving to thailand and were i live there is nooooo vinyl shops. Any help would be much apprecated.
Its like why????? would you even get a pioneer cdj? lol people are so turned on by the wierdest things. these are truely the closest to vinyl, and people still go with pioneer lol. PS I saw a pair of these sldz on CL for about 350!
@destremie These limited edition turntables are worth the searching, if you do a google 123 DJ or one of those online sites still has some new, also ebay is a great place to find them, good luck on your search!
yeah. theres no doubt they are awesome tables. i just wanna know where i can buy them!!?!?!?!? in australia would be good but i dont mind ordering these toys internationally. if anyone could help me own one or two of these sexy things pls give me a hand! :) thanks so much! p.s i love the platter size too ;)
The newer 1200's have a new firmware update that clears up all that distortion, he might have the newer one, but the older ones are very very distorted.
@Draxx1134 I am curious to know what is different because Iv'e seen these and they do not sound anything remotely close to real. More like a broken Nintendo.
uhm dj sensei im a dj hera in the philippines but i only own a technics sldz1200 and a cdj 100.. technics here are hard to fine so hard i promise.. i nid another one to complete my setup... 2 technics sldz1200.. plenty of people here critisize my player (my sl dz1200) but i dont care .. all i care is i have the most famous and accurate technics product. im proud to be an owner of an sldz1200.. even though i only have one.. not pair.. pm me pls
Well I had the pioneer 800 mk2's (sold them because I needed money) Think Im goin to buy these now that the price dropped and those new vinyl discs look awesome on it. Love the extra features plus the spinning platter =)
he showing that the digital is as good as the vinal because people think vinal is better he is just showing that they are the same. and it probable easier to get music for the digital than the vinal now of days
RulaMc, I didn't mean to give you a thumbs down on your comment I was trying to give you a thumb up. LOL. Anyhow, I couldn't agree with you more. I like the spinning platter feel of the sldz1200's. Pioneer's feels to generic IMO...
I recently bought a pair of SL-DZ1200's and got rid of my pioneers on ebay. wish I never listened to other people I should have bought these technics decks 2 years ago. I can finally scratch again. Nuff said.
@thespindocta so they r much better than pioneers cdj1000 ? - i mean is it not more difficult just like the way it is with vinyl ? bcause them pioneers are way to easy to mix with
or does it also have an BPM counter ? indeed yes, i do the same !
@thespindocta they are good then ? im mixing on a pair of 1210's and find myself in need on a cd player. dont really want to pay extra for the pioneer sticker on the deck haha
thanks for the video..i tested SL-DZ1200 last year, it felt great..i have a pair of cdj-400 and a djm-400, its good to mix but its hard if u wanna learn to scratch from scratch..hehe..u make me wanna buy the SL-DZ1200 now..haha..whats the name of your mixer?
Because whoever talk trash about them wish that they had made the right choice by getting the Technics SLDZs. When u can't the the grapes....u convince urself that they are sour!!!
