Esperanto sounds beautiful. English is easy for some people, but for some others it's extremely hard to pronounce the vowels properly. Esperanto only has 5 vowels and they always sound the same, which is much simpler. Also it has only one article for everything, which is ''la''. I'm not saying it will replace all languages, but I'm sure it could replace english as a ''universal language''.
... Does Esperonto have a DEFINARY of words that fully define all abstract human concepts itself? Like God, Marriage, Calendar, Normal, Religion, Law, Sin, Perversion, Degeneracy, Bastard, Freak, Crime, Justice, Good and Evil, Right and Wrong?
... Or is it just another undefined vernacular whose word meaning requires reference to the words of another undefined vernacular like English?
@amirtaaki Your stock reply gave me a belly laugh.
"Beauty is a subjective opinion..." ring any bells? I find it very ugly.
Koasati, Otomi, Yimas, there's some aesthetic langs.
Now, for this efficiency: are you denying there's plenty of redundant marking aka agreement? Or there's inflections that aren't vital? Because both of those things are there.
@HailCthulhu Your rant about agreement et al reminds me of that rant by a LISP supporter about how unnecessary data types are in programming languages. Personally, I like strongly typed programming languages, but to each his own.
@HailCthulhu Kompreneble. Ekzistas multaj aferoj en Esperanto, kiujn oni ne bezonas esprimi en la angla. Aliflanke se oni bezonas esprimi ideon en iu ajn lingvo ties lingvanaro disponigos vorton.
Some of those words are like the spanish words for that stuff, but there are weird letters I can't write with my keyboard =/

Wow, these videos are great! But come on, 7000 views? People should try propagating these as much as possible. I certainly will.

@CivilizedMan444 Tre malmultaj vortoj en Esperanto estas angladevenaj. Krome multaj el la vortoj listigitaj estas plursencaj.

@CivilizedMan444 It is a complete relexification.

So? There's nothing that can't be expressed in one language but not in another.

@HailCthulhu
Esperanto is a beautiful language and it's very simple to learn. Its ultimate goal is to be the international second language.

It is full of unnecessary inflections and redundant markings. Beauty is a subjective opinion and I already know what it wants to be.

@HailCthulhu bullshit. it's efficient and elegant.

@ghenulo Flaws in an IAL remain flaws in an IAL despite of someone's liking of those flaws.

@ghenulo If you want to be understood by people, you'll have to bother to speak what they're speaking.
