I didn't know people differentiated between "high" and "stoned". "High" is a pretty broad term used for every drug aside from alcohol in the part of the US I live in anyways. "Stoned" is usually used only for weed, but people say "high" just as often and I see people use the word "stoned" to convey that they are just "really high on weed".
