What you saw was a stairwell which was attached to the end of the structure, and yes it fell last... good observation. I have just posted a small revision to the video... it shows the results of the test blast on one columne a little more clearly.
I don't know if it is just the way I'm looking at it, but it seems like the side closest to us (as the viwers) could have possibly fell a little further out than anticipated? Looked kind of scary. thanks for the video!
