How pitiful. He can't even get up the ramp in Unreal Tournament 2004. I have not played UT2004 since this semester started because of school, but I would gladly play.
I like some things in UT3 more than in UT2004, but I still like UT2004 more, because you don't need a super computer to play it wihtout lag, and to be able to see things well, also UT3 misses NET CODE, I am not able to play online without having net lag(not graphics lag).

UE3 ( the game engine used for UT3) is used on consoles which have 256 mb graphics cards and run at least 30fps and back when I had a 9500 for like 80$ and a 2.2 Ghz Proc I could run medium 50 Fps. At this moment in time the engine that required the most graphical power was Cryengine for Crysis. Though the Net lag I have no comment about.

UT3 doesn't really add anything... if there was only one reason to buy UT3, it'd be for the mods, not the actual game. UT2k4 is pretty much everything UT3 is, but cheaper.
The latest unreal engine makes most of the levels and models look the same. Don't get me wrong--they do look really good--but the color pallet isn't very diverse.
I like both Ut3 has amazing graphics and is surely fun. But what happened to invasion? come on it was the bst thing in ut2004 so im going to say ut2004>ut3
Epic dumbed down the acrobatics on purpose, because the skill gap was GLARING in 2k4. All the pros were bouncing off the walls and the noobs were easy prey. Well you finally got close to someone, all they had to do was dodge jump and the were a mile away. That was the other problem, the distance between opponents. UT3 (like ut99) is much more (in your face).
UT3 has WEIGHT. Not a bunch of Egyptians and 1000 pound behemoths doing flips in the air.
If this is sieriously the BEST way you could have compared UT3 and UT2k4 than you have failed horribly. Try again...no really try making another video with actual REASONS not not to play UT2k4 and switch to UT3.
If yo set like 15 players in ut2004 too, it'll be MUCH MORE better than ut3, It's faster, it's more difficult, you need to think, not only catch de biggest weapon, press w, and left click...
I would like to retract my claim of ut2004 being faster than UT3, They are very close to the same. I have just made another vid watched very closely with same resolution and speed is same, jump height is different. UT3 is more grounded heavier gravity much less floaty than than ut99 and ut2004. I tend to forget about the only players left in UT3 are the Hacker clans, they set my game to be slower and suckier than their players so they can beat me.
If more ppl played UT3 i wouldve been on that game rockin' ur world buddy, but no1 plays it alot yet, soon ppl will.. but for now ppl still the old raggidy UT2K4 game.

And it's a liar, that the warefare mode is a new game mode, it's only a modified onslaught.
UT3 was a disappointment...
You can't play online on servers if you don't have a map, so you have to download it first... but UT2004 was downloaded them for itself.
My opinion is: UT2004 is better than UT3.
You just can't play with UT2004.

yeah... and it tries to have a story... i had no idea what they were trying to do. ut 2004 is like a sports game. you manage a team and all that stuff. but ut 3 has nothing like that and ends up being boring and stupid.
(the game has a REAL lack of color and the main character looks like the guy in gears of war... which also had a lack of color)

@parzit888 yes I am aware that UT99 was probably the best, and yes I have most of the maps from that game in my UT2004 map list, same goes for Unreal, I have downloaded a full mod for UT2004 that lets you play the game of Unreal 1, and yet I still have all these games on one disk :)

UT3 is the best in the series.
Epic dumbed down the acrobatics on purpose, because the skill gap was GLARING in 2k4. All the pros were bouncing off the walls and the noobs were easy prey. Well you finally got close to someone, all they had to do was dodge jump and the were a mile away. That was the other problem, the distance between opponents. UT3 (like ut99) is much more (in your face).
UT3 has WEIGHT. Not a bunch of Egyptians and 1000 pound behemoths doing flips in the air.

I would like to retract my claim of ut2004 being faster than UT3, They are very close to the same. I have just made another vid watched very closely with same resolution and speed is same, jump height is different. UT3 is more grounded heavier gravity much less floaty than than ut99 and ut2004. I tend to forget about the only players left in UT3 are the Hacker clans, they set my game to be slower and suckier than their players so they can beat me.

Lemme say something else. True Unreal gamers are the ones that will respect a game even if they dislike it. I used to dislike UT3, but I respected it for its more advanced engine.
The real winners are the ones that respect ALL Unreal games. Really, the only losers and failures here are the ones that call themselves gamers and then bash either UT2K4 or UT3. If you can't respect an Unreal game, you don't deserve either UT3 or UT2K4.
