  • i followed the steps but when i press p i can see the ball but the floor seems to disappear and the walls are black (ball white). i am new to blender so i don't know much about it but i saw the game tab at the top of the screen and change the texure setting thing. i also added colour to the maze and ball with the tracka different colour from the walls and i've changed the position of the camera and lamp. why is it doing this?

  • ok, this one is hard one to fix. What you need to do is right click the track then press TAB. Then press CTRL-A until you have everything selected (keep pressing until all the verticies go yellow). Then press F9 to go into the editing tab and press "flip normals". Let me know if it doesn't work.

  • Wait, its not CTRL-A its just A sorry

  • how do you select the track you want

  • Once you have subdivided it, press B twice for circle select and you can select your track with it.

  • if it doesnt work use the deafault camera

    :)

  • how did you get it so smooth

  • if you are talking about the ball, you can press "set smooth". To get to the set smooth button fress F9 then in the "Link and Materials" tab you should find "set smooth" button. If its the map, (3D game area) thats just the screen recorder. Its not actually smoot.

  • hey how do i select the track ??

  • The gravity affect in blenders game engine will make the lower maze the track, gravity will take care of everything.

  • what if when you use camera view and press P then the ball dissapears, what shall i do?!

  • There is probably something covering the camera, remove it.

  • I cant get the ball and the camera to go to gether like you say at 4:00 plz help

  • You have to select the camera first then the ball. Dont worry i have made this mistake many times.

  • I have it dose not work. and sory it took so long for me to reyply but my computer crashed

  • Ok well try selecting the camera then the ball press alt-p then ctrl-p and if that doesn't work i think you have a faulty blender.
