And we can live happily on this planet together! :)

@myawkwardowl If I had a million dollars and years to spend conducting research I would no doubt be able to prove that indoctrinating kids and forcing them to only learn one religion until they are of age increases the percentage that choose that religion over kids who were not indoctrinated at an early age. I have better shit to do with my time though (like watch Youtube videos) so you're just going to have to take that on faith, something you should have no problem doing.

@BrianWillmott Oh, I do not doubt that! If a child grows up with a religion, they are most likely to practice that religion as an adult. But we are not imprisoned to it. We're not "forcing", it's the same situation with any religion.

I have better things to do, also. I have my faith, and you have yours - whatever it might be.

@myawkwardowl It's hard to make a point in 500 characters at a time, and I've argued the same point with my Mormon friends many times. It is pretty pointless I agree. My original point was that if you were Mormon, you are more likely to follow the core tenets of Mormonism than someone who is not Mormon. Anyways, although I disagree with you on the concept of religion, I still wish you a long and happy life. And just in case you're right, you can always say "I told you so" in heaven.

Yes, we read and believe in the bible, which is a sacred record of the early church on the old world continent. The book of Mormon is the same thing for the ancient inhabitants of the new world. In the bible it NEVER says that it is the only true word of god. If your thinking of Rev. 22:18-19, it only refers to the book of revelation. this is because the bible was not compiled until 267 years later. before that, the 66 books of the bible were actual separate books.
