GREG MAY of Orlando, FL says: "I was a fan of both disco and 'The Edge of Night' so when DENNIS PARKER came to an Orlando nightclub in 1978 to promote his album I had to meet him! I had watched him perform on "The Merv Griffin Show" two weeks earlier. He was on the same show with my icon, GRACE JONES! When I met him all I could talk about was Grace Jones! He said, "When you meet Grace are you going to talk about me?"
Love this song, but the "performance" is cringeworthy. Most people don't remember that Parker was a regular on the soap Opera "The Edge Of Night", and was doing porn films before, during and after his stint on that show. Amazing...couldn't get away with that today!
This...this...this is so beautifully ugly but a utmost gay scene anthem tune. I do not know how to describe this otherwise. Translated form a dutch language saying we would say this record is "a terrific faulty record". This is in the ranks of PAUL Parker and Patrick Cowley. I bet Freddie Mercury (queen) copied his act from these guys.

Patrick Juvet & Dennis Parker were my favorite disco singers from that era.
