yeah your sooooo right, sony has decent cameras but ive decided to buy a panasonic ag-hmc40 best bang for your buck. Do you plan on puttuing up any other films?
Yeah I actually working on one right now. I will be using my 5D MarkII (24p), If you want to see it you can subscribe to my videos and you will be the first one seeing it.
Anyway, good luck with your great camera (saw the awesome reviews) and hope you do many enjoyable films:)
I would recommend you to render it in 1920x1080 even though most of our current networks, makes the film lag on youtube when you watch it in hd. in the future I can assure you that our local network will be faster and hd will lag less on youtube.
in person I would rather prefer to venture higher quality than low quality.
the price is around 2000 on average, id suggest getting it at B&H Photo and Video, they sell it online for $1,920 and free shipping to the states(they are based out of NY)
Yeah, I noticed this in computer parts, most of Europe gets an unfair price. Like in computer parts, if it costs $200 USD, they make it 200 Pounds and 200 Euros, regardless of inflation and exchange rate. No matter what, someone is getting ripped off, either the U.S., the UK, or EU.
Thats depending. If you are a beginner I recommend the FX7 because its easy to use. But as I said, The more money you spend the better it will be. Its only your budget on how much you want to spend that actually Minimize your volition.
have I ever told you that the hdr-fx7 is clear without pressing the HD button ?... Make also be known that this video was one of the first hd videos in youtubes history..
a nice spot

Are there any other camera's around the same price with a little bit better image quality? does anyone know
peruboi101 1 year ago
well, that completely depends on what you mean. The hdr-fx7 gives 1920x1080 resolution and are in in my opinion a very great camera for its price.
And let me remind you that what you see in this film are not just a scaled version, without also 35 percent compressed from its original quality.
otherwise I would add some hundred dollars and buy some of canons camcorders. They are some better but more expensive

is it better to render in 720 or 1080 for youtube? i have one =]

Yeah, im still kind a jealous of you americans because in sweden it costs about 4000 and I just can believe it cost the half in the U.S.

the fx7 is around $2000 in the us. Im a proud new owner of one :)

In sweden if we would use dollars, the Sony FX7 should cost 4000, :(

Well how does this one compare to the HDR FX1E?
is it really worth the extra to go with the fx1e?

OR is it better to buy a more expensive one, or are there any otheres around a similar price instead?

Megapixels or price?

It's a pity it's interlaced. I have not successfully ripped any footage from my Sony HDV.
jezzmoto 2 years ago
The reason why its actually interlaced is because I forgotten to tick off the interlace column. Nowadays I always use progressive when I upload.
Areabus 2 years ago
I curse interlacing! What software are you ripping with?
jezzmoto 2 years ago
I use Mpegstream as the convert software, its a lot of settings and a big range of convert/size formats to , I recommend it as well...
Areabus 2 years ago
Thank you, I'll give that a go.
