@KESDtv maybe because like this it prevents the radiator to froze due to the huge amount of air,when racing at speed of light... :P just kidding

@KESDtv dats coz d radiator fan pulls the air thru d radiator core and the intercooler thereby cooling both.

@wildchildshan its a water to air intercooler no air flows through the actual intercooler part therefore it is blocking airflow to the radiator.

personally i would not go that close to the turbo with the camera.
