HELP!!! i went to play some ps3 the other day with my friend and one of my controlers wont turn on. It will charge via usb and the lights flashes but when i press the ps button nothing happens, i have pressed the reset button variouse times so dont tell me to do that and i have taken it apart and none of the buttons are disconeted from the circuit bored. I want to make sure i cant fix it before i nuy a new one... It is just the ps button which means i cant turn it on. ps. Batery works fine

@Death2766 I didnt find out yet sorry, but i fixed my other controller (i broke off the reset button coz it was stuck, so the only way to rest it is to take off the cover and press it with a pin). For you it could be the reset or ps button that got stuck/disconnected from board. Ill try and fix it in my spare time, take into consideration that ima 15 yr old kid that studys physics and electronic it will be easy. If i cant do ill just ask my dad, he works with this stuff :) add me

@mygorgemc look if you ever raged quit and threw your controller your anolog stick triggers the crouch button push it forward and it randomly hits anything, and if u don't rage and u dropped it same thing bro. U can't rlly fix it but pull the right anolog stick back as hard as u can it kinda fixes it but if u hit the run button hard it happens again. I got warrenty on my controller so yea ur kinda just fucked. BTW add me SHYGUY2000

This is called pairing. You have to do this for every controller the first time you connect.

This problem is caused in case you use your controller on another PS3, they have a memory on the PS3 they try to connect. SO all you need to do is to plug it in the USB so it can configure with the PS3 and it will remember it.

Yes but if that dosen't work, which most the time it won't, you have to take a needle, and press the reset button on the bottom of every ps3 controller to the left of the screw in the middle of the top of the controller and hold it a second and it will sync with yous system as long as its plugged in with the usb cable!
