Love it how people are moaning Valves when they haven't got a clue what the hell they are talking about or that these engines don't even have them!

I have done up a heap of these victa engines and have yet to break one yet even though I have got silly power and revs out of them. they are tough engines and with plenty of oil in the mix they run damn hard and take a lot to wear out.

So much better than those stupid Briggs shit things it isn't funny.

Yes, with a two-stroke you have a rotary or reed valve to control air/fuel mix from the carbs to the cylinders with the aid of ported pistons, unless there's something out there I'm not aware of. Not counting exotic shit, of course. We're talking about a lawnmower!

If the carb went directly onto the crankcase, then a reed/rotary valve system would be needed.

@N4CR5 nah thats too much fuel. when fuel burns theres a flame. the engine running on idle has the right amount fuel so all the flame stays in combustion chamber. when he adds the nitro to the mix there is way to much fuel so it creates excess flame. the fastest way for the flame to escape combustion chamber is out exhaust

If we'd added extra fuel & really gave it some serious RPM, it probbably would have blown up.

In most cases nitrous is usually putting out more power per dollar. Also there is no constant wear from forced induction, with nitrous you can choose when do to the wear on an engine.
