As we read His word on a daily basis, God calls us His attention to His still, small voice, and like the Psalmist David said in these three verses of Psalm 5, our strength and power comes from Him who embraces us with His love and grace.
The original recording of this in the seventies was made by the writer and/or singer of the song who died in a car accident after recording it. If I had one thing to leave behind....
So much good, from the first time I listened to it since 1990, has never fade, will not fade until Christ returns. keeps me standingstill in the spirit. Well done Terry Clark and crey. God bless you all.
WOW, THIS IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE SONGS!!!! I NEED TO BUY AGAIN THE ALBUM THIS IS ON. I USED TO HAVE SEVERAL ON CASSETE TAPES... I NEED TO GET ON DVD IF I CAN FIND IT...
If anyone knows how I can find this version to download, I'd really appreciate any help I can get! I couldn't remember all the words but find myself singing a part of it all the time. So glad I found this! Thank you!

I so love this song. An absolute all time favorite of mine. This song captures the heart cry (whether audibly released or expressed in deep inward sighs) of a heart that recognizes and seeks Christ as the ANSWER in Himself to all life's perplexities.
it makes sense why Jesus was scorned bc ppl were looking out of their understanding of Him and not looking out of His faith to see who He really is. God is beautiful!!!
There was a Jesus-music band in the mid-1970's called The Road Home. On a "Maranatha! 5" sampler LP of about 1975 to 77 vintage, there is a recording of this translation of part of Psalm 5, performed by the late Bill Sprouse, of The Road Home, that ignited in me the love for singing from the Psalms. I am still trying to find a digital copy of that song and that LP. "Sidney the Pirate" by Mustard Seed Faith, is on the same LP.
The singer in this song is one of my all time favorite singers. I discovered him while attending Promise Keeper events. I went to see him at a couple of churches. He was very good and a humble servant of our Lord Jesus. The singer is Terry Clark
This video is so uplifting and will make want to pray for the blessings that he gives us everyday, and what we need to do as christians is exactly that hit our knees and do more prayer. May peace and love be with you all!
This song popped into my head while I was praying today, I had forgotten it. So I looked it up and found it here. :-) We used to sing this song a long time ago.
I used to have an album by maranatha singers called psalms alive 2. There were so many beautiful songs on it. If someone has it can you post IN THE MORNING or BE GRACIOUS UNTO BE? peace
wow...finally found this song. Would sing it as a youth in church and have only remembered a few lines but the entire melody plays continually in my head. Now I FOUND IT!!!!
thank you very much, so pretty of song, May the Lord Jesus be praised forever. Glory to the Lamb. do believe that Vineyard music speeds this song up just a little bit?
