i was getting about 70 volts...but my amps were only 200micro amps. I just managed to get 14 volts at 1.5 Milliamps....it will light an led. Its progress:)

Guys. perpetual motion or "free energy" is impossible. It will never be, and never can be. It goes agains't the basic laws of physics! Think about it: The law of conservation of matter and energy says that matter and energy can't be made or destroyed, it only changes form. If you make a "free energy" machine, you are taking energy out without putting any in, and are "making" energy and thus breaking the basic laws of physics.
You people talking about theft of service and other BS: the little capacitors are not taking ANYTHING away from anyones signal strength. If so, the power would be equivilent to a couple of AA batteries at the MOST.. which would be comparable to the loss of signal from an added distance of say, 1 mile? I came up with this same idea when I was just a kid on my first electronics course. Whilst no one contended that it wouldn't work, they did tell me what would happen if I built and used one.
It would pull down the transmission power for local television and radio signals preventing *anyone* in the vicinity of that from receiving broadcasts.
It wouldn't be long before your house was triangulated as the source and you were told to cut it out.
@frostek i remember hearing the same thing when i was younger. But im just taking small amounts of probably many frequencies,,,and im not messing up anyones tv or radios,,,i check with the neighbors frequently.
But the day will come when they visit me,,,maybe eventualy i will have to encase my lab with alum screen to block the waves from escaping the lab :-)
@frostek the only transmission power it would pull down would be in your space (I assume no one has an antenna in your space but you) and anyone line of site from your location. i.e. if you were between point a and point b. I don't think there is a problem accepting a single from the air around you, your body blocks the same single as does your home and your trees, etc... (If it is in the air, take it...)
@UknowJack0 - In that case there wouldn't be any power. This power isn't coming from nowhere. If you tap off power from local transmissions it causes a drop in local signal strength. They have to increase the power to the transmitter and you will likely be held responsible under local telecoms protection laws for theft of service.
@frostek They'd have to change the laws in the US because "theft of service" would mean that you de-crypt a signal for use. Right now, you can receive any radio signal you want to, you just can't decrypt an encrypted signal. If you are snagging the EM waves and converting them to battery power,,, oh well, you aren't decrypting anything. They would have to protect transmission lines to keep the EM waves from leaving the wires or change the laws. I saw where someone did that with a big coil once.
@frostek problem with your idea, it wouldnt just absorb all of the transmition...... and it couldnt be triangulated at all. it simply uses radio signals for their limited free power... you could have this next to your radio and it wouldnt do anything to it. same concept as having 2 radios right next to eachother. its a long antenna with a few diodes tied to the end
@frostek Sorry guys, but you don't "suck" waves out of the air. They are not attracted to antennas. The wave is like a wave in water, it strikes anything and everything that happens to be in the water. It's just one more thing being hit. No one can tell what you are doing unless they see it, and if I recall correctly the first amendment protects your right to an antenna ("listening" to radio is part of free speech).
It's not free energy, most of it would be from radio transmitters (including cell phones, every WiFi, TV stations and so on). In that way you make someone else pay for the energy you grab off the air.

also put a small tesla coil by the device and put a resistor on the first caps middle paralell leg and the t coil will induce atleast 5X volts and Amps into the circuit allowing those caps Inductive capacitance up thus reducing the load OHM drop. Good luk m8

I have a lot of Silicon diodes, and since radioshack doesn't seem to carry the 1n34 will a 1n4001 work? and from what I've seen also your using .05uf for your disk caps, from what I've seen isn't it supposed to be .2uf? @neato3000 I would experiment with the silicone diodes,,they can work also. Im doing many experiments and finding that "everything" makes a differance. Length and height of antenna, single circuit or duel circuit design, germaniums or silicon. I find that the silicon takes about 20-25 min to get up to full voltage, germanium take 30 sec. You neeed to experiment with what works best with your set-up(antenna length and height).
DO u know that a wheatstone bridge can be uned in reverse also to step up the voltage to power a mosfet or transistor based circuit to get the amps you want say up to .9 amperes/joule

@patthespark I got it up to 125V,,,but only micro Amps,,,so very little power. It is continous, day & night, wet or dry. Only power a calculator at this time, or anything that is powered with a watch battery.
I'm taking a guess that your ceramic capacitors there are 0.1 microFarad. When hooked up in series they are not going to add the capacitance to equal 0.2 microFarads, you must hook them up in parallel.
Otherwise, I am going to be conducting this experiment soon, once my parts arrive, and see what can be done with it.

remove the the wire's insulation and get longer wire and also stretch the wire out ... also experiment with what the difference would be if you layed out the wire polar north south or along the equator.
Look, the only way this would work is to have the whole circuit super cooled with liquid nitrogen so there won't be any resistive loses and replace the small capacitors on the left with a coil. Because using the capacitor and coil in parallel will make a resonant tank which will hold the energy at a frequency given by the capacitance and inductance. And introduce another inductor isolated from the circuit to capture the energy that's generated by the super cooled circuit.

Lol i just came up wt this idea in like a min as i watched ur video. But for the resonance part, it doesn't matter what coil or capacitor you use. Your just making a holding tank, not a band pass filter. but i'm skeptical about the cap being cooled because u gotta use one that doesn't have liquid, or else it's gonna be altered. It is called a radio receiver, you are converting wifi signals into a very tiny current which is stored in the capacitors. The is no load (the meter has a very high input resistor) so the capacitors can charge to the higher voltage.
It is not completely free since you requires something nearby transmitting this power, and it stops working in a Faraday cage.
The energy you receive is very very low just enough to power a RFID chip or so.

Yes Earth gets hit by radio-waves form the cosmos but these are so low in power that we need giant dishes to have a minimal power so we can amplify it.
Only when we look at the Sun then we get a lot of photon energy so we could use solar cells.

I noticed you get into tesla coils I was thinking about a rodin coil using it as the primary inductor running it on 10 to 15kvdc with its weird split phase keeping the traditional tesla coil as the secondary. i am not sure what would happen maby true anti-gravity like the lorentz effect electric tornado???. Very interesting idea. That rodin coil really interests me. Yes, i like this idea. But i think it maybe a lot more tricky to tune the coil. I would try with a very small tesla coil first, because they are much easier to tune. The rodin coil has 2 inputs and 2 outputs, i would have to think how to wire it into the tesla coil. I would definetly play with the rodin coil, there is something to be had there.

the energy you are picking up is from the AC power in your house do a test outside far from power lines to see how much you can get, old crystal radio circuit work great for this, I myself am trying to make one to work at around 4-7 hz (same as the earth and planets)

the silicon diodes you are using are converting sunlight into electricity, I use to make solar arrays from them on PC boards. Germanium Diodes work even better than Silicon Diodes for converting sunlight to electricity.
I also forgot to mention that Germanium Diodes also convert radio transmission to electricity as well as visible light.
Yes, im finding this out. I will change circuit components next. also i see that silicon diodes take .7 V drop. germanium takes only .3V. Yes they can convert sunlight to electricity, but is that how they are working in this circuit. silicone diodes are used every where, but not usually used in circuits to utilize sunlight.

Your antenna is not antenna wire. It's insulated, and so you are killing the whole circuit. Use antenna or magnetic coil wire. The longer the better...
JM reporting initial readings of 30 volts at 86ma. Put a small motor on the circuit and the motor gives a quarter of a turn, simply means that JM needs a good storage capacitor. This device is based upon famous "Nicola Tesla's Radiant Energy Collector"

Think about it: The law of conservation of matter and energy says that matter and energy can't be made or destroyed, it only changes form. I came up with this same idea when I was just a kid on my first electronics course. Whilst no one contended that it wouldn't work, they did tell me what would happen if I built and used one.
It would pull down the transmission power for local television and radio signals preventing *anyone* in the vicinity of that from receiving broadcasts.
It wouldn't be long before your house was triangulated as the source and you were told to cut it out.
Essentially it comes down to theft of service.

@frostek the only transmission power it would pull down would be in your space (I assume no one has an antenna in your space but you) and anyone line of site from your location. i.e. if you were between point a and point b. I don't think there is a problem accepting a single from the air around you, your body blocks the same single as does your home and your trees, etc... (If it is in the air, take it...)

@UknowJack0 - In that case there wouldn't be any power. This power isn't coming from nowhere. If you tap off power from local transmissions it causes a drop in local signal strength. They have to increase the power to the transmitter and you will likely be held responsible under local telecoms protection laws for theft of service.

@frostek They'd have to change the laws in the US because "theft of service" would mean that you de-crypt a signal for use. Right now, you can receive any radio signal you want to, you just can't decrypt an encrypted signal. If you are snagging the EM waves and converting them to battery power,,, oh well, you aren't decrypting anything. They would have to protect transmission lines to keep the EM waves from leaving the wires or change the laws. I saw where someone did that with a big coil once.

@frostek problem with your idea, it wouldnt just absorb all of the transmition...... and it couldnt be triangulated at all. it simply uses radio signals for their limited free power... you could have this next to your radio and it wouldnt do anything to it. same concept as having 2 radios right next to eachother. its a long antenna with a few diodes tied to the end

The wave is like a wave in water, it strikes anything and everything that happens to be in the water. It's just one more thing being hit. No one can tell what you are doing unless they see it, and if I recall correctly the first amendment protects your right to an antenna ("listening" to radio is part of free speech).

also put a small tesla coil by the device and put a resistor on the first caps middle paralell leg and the t coil will induce atleast 5X volts and Amps into the circuit allowing those caps Inductive capacitance up thus reducing the load OHM drop. Good luk m8

@neato3000 I would experiment with the silicone diodes,,they can work also. Im doing many experiments and finding that "everything" makes a differance. Length and height of antenna, single circuit or duel circuit design, germaniums or silicon. I find that the silicon takes about 20-25 min to get up to full voltage, germanium take 30 sec. You neeed to experiment with what works best with your set-up(antenna length and height).

I'm taking a guess that your ceramic capacitors there are 0.1 microFarad. When hooked up in series they are not going to add the capacitance to equal 0.2 microFarads, you must hook them up in parallel.
Otherwise, I am going to be conducting this experiment soon, once my parts arrive, and see what can be done with it.

Look, the only way this would work is to have the whole circuit super cooled with liquid nitrogen so there won't be any resistive loses and replace the small capacitors on the left with a coil. Because using the capacitor and coil in parallel will make a resonant tank which will hold the energy at a frequency given by the capacitance and inductance. And introduce another inductor isolated from the circuit to capture the energy that's generated by the super cooled circuit.

Lol i just came up wt this idea in like a min as i watched ur video. But for the resonance part, it doesn't matter what coil or capacitor you use. Your just making a holding tank, not a band pass filter. but i'm skeptical about the cap being cooled because u gotta use one that doesn't have liquid, or else it's gonna be altered. Use a ceramic capacitor instead, but they come in the low microfarads and even pico. Which suks. But give it a try if u can get the nitrogen too.

It is called a radio receiver, you are converting wifi signals into a very tiny current which is stored in the capacitors. The is no load (the meter has a very high input resistor) so the capacitors can charge to the higher voltage.
It is not completely free since you requires something nearby transmitting this power, and it stops working in a Faraday cage.
The energy you receive is very very low just enough to power a RFID chip or so.

If you need the metal deeper in the ground and not more metal then do you have a water well use a metal object on a long wire and insulate it drop it down into the water. I noticed you get into tesla coils I was thinking about a rodin coil using it as the primary inductor running it on 10 to 15kvdc with its weird split phase keeping the traditional tesla coil as the secondary. i am not sure what would happen maby true anti-gravity like the lorentz effect electric tornado???. Very interesting idea. That rodin coil really interests me. Yes, i like this idea. But i think it maybe a lot more tricky to tune the coil. I would try with a very small tesla coil first, because they are much easier to tune. The rodin coil has 2 inputs and 2 outputs, i would have to think how to wire it into the tesla coil. I would definetly play with the rodin coil, there is something to be had there.

the energy you are picking up is from the AC power in your house do a test outside far from power lines to see how much you can get, old crystal radio circuit work great for this, I myself am trying to make one to work at around 4-7 hz (same as the earth and planets)

Hmmm, i have studied solar cells or photovaltaic moduals before....lets see if i remeber corectly...in short....silicon waffers, doped slightly differant to make one waffer positively charged and other wafer neg charged so electrons go from one side to the oher....i have many ideas on how to improve the solar cell....but i dont see how this is my circuit.....i will have to think about this...well i will be changing circuit soon anyhow. the silicon diodes you are using are converting sunlight into electricity, I use to make solar arrays from them on PC boards. Germanium Diodes work even better than Silicon Diodes for converting sunlight to electricity.
I also forgot to mention that Germanium Diodes also convert radio transmission to electricity as well as visible light.

Yes, im finding this out. I will change circuit components next. also i see that silicon diodes take .7 V drop. germanium takes only .3V. Yes they can convert sunlight to electricity, but is that how they are working in this circuit. silicone diodes are used every where, but not usually used in circuits to utilize sunlight.

BTW: Many years back I attempted to measure the Schumann frequency and came up with a value more like 7Hz than 9Hz.

If it dose in in fact work like a crystal radio
it may need adjustment to capture the right signal i may be the 8.73 of Schumann , maybe earth magnetic vibration.

You're WRONG. Schumann resonance is 7.83 and NOT 8.73

Yes,the world needs a flashlite. old telegraphe line where working from earth,we just need enough to power a motor/generator, but that said i got so little volts out of that circuit that i am really thinking, fake readings, or multimeter needs studing.
I hope you really got 3.75 volts but that seems very unlikely unless you use it as a pick up coil for some tesla coil!?

I have gotten as much as 18.5 volts so far! You may need to look at my other video, and all its comments. When i first made the circuit, i only got like milli volts. How long is your antenna? I can help you get more voltage if you like.... talk to me, explain to me, where your at, and whats going on. tell me about your antenna.

Hmmm...radiant energies from sun, moon, bklack holes, stars, get collected on to antenna wire, travel down antenna to small capacitors...hmmm, creating small pulses that the diodes can handle, diodes trap energies in circuit not allowing them to escape back out the antenna, than large capacitors with diodes create pulsed dc current....Well, thats best i can explain....if anyone can elaborate on my explanation...please do.

an idea that you might want to look into you know the shaker lights that run off a electromagnetic coil its 4 diodes and a capacitor and a led my thoughts take the air circuit use the already existing coil of wire as an air circuit antenna and charge the shaker light from the air ? shouldnt be to mush more hassle then you would have a flashlight that would always have power.

interesting, i had the idea for this light, and i was going to make one. than 1 week later it came out on tv and in stores.
I like your idea...i will have to buy 1 of these lights and disect it.

I will try an uncoated magnet wire. But I believe Tesla's radiant energy collector used an insulated plate. The insulation acted as a dielect between atmosphere and plate.?

Your antenna is not antenna wire. It's insulated, and so you are killing the whole circuit. Use antenna or magnetic coil wire. The longer the better...
JM reporting initial readings of 30 volts at 86ma. Put a small motor on the circuit and the motor gives a quarter of a turn, simply means that JM needs a good storage capacitor. This device is based upon famous "Nicola Tesla's Radiant Energy Collector"

And what results you will get if you use more wire and more diodes? I mean, using... 10 diodes for example and more wire. I think the diodes are the key to tap energy from the thin air, so, if you use more diodes you should get more energy.
