  • "Stop talking about other vehicles this is for a Roush mustang nothing else" {St0pTrashTyping}

Nothing else? You are a walking contradication, wow!

  • Listen up -Hopsing I will do what eva I want ,for the world is {my} oyster, jealous?

  • an m3 would not beat the roush 427 r, geeze read up on your facts man cuz your stupid

    nice car dude

my dad has a roush stage 3 mustang

    love the dounts lol

  • i would nutt for this car

  • id like to race it against my ls2 goat.

  • I own the car. It's not 427c.i. It's a supercharged 4.6 v8. 427 is a homage to the old ford big blocks. It's rated at approx. 430 - 435 hp at the crank. Some say it pushes out more but they kept it at this No. for insurance purposes.

  • I've seen a dyno sheet that said 356 at the rear wheels, bone stock.

  • lolz so 430 crank is a bit underrated.

  • @ltwon0 I had a 07 427R, but I traded it for a 08 P51a....both are fun.....glad to see you enjoy yours too

  • An M3 would NOT beat this car.

  • Not a huge M3 fan, but it has the similar stats, PLUS better balance and indi-suspension. I think the M3 would beat the 427r on a track, but in a straight line, due to the stats, looks like it would be a driver's race.

  • Roush uses the M3s for toothpicks!!!

  • I am not self-deluded with any car I drive; I know how well the car handles and how fast it actually is. Put the E92 and a Roush on a track, or the newer and lighter E92 just released. Instead of acting like teenage fan boys, act like racers and put them up to the test. The older M3 CLS still holds a 7:50 on the Nurb-ring and the E46 CSL Loaded has a time of 7:22. The stock E92 holds a 8:05 around the Ring, which is faster than a STi Spec-C and only a couple seconds slower than a 911 GT3.

  • The newer lightened E92 is probably going to get a lower/mid 7min time when tested. So, time for Roush to put up a time somewhere? The E92 already has some reliable times on US tracks: Virginia International Raceway, Laguna Seca and the Willow Springs - Streets of Willow (1.7 miles) (where it is faster than a Lotus Exige S 240). Roush needs some lap-times when it releases a new car, to put a real pedigree behind their brand. Hp stats are one thing, proven victories and times is another.

  • The m3 is crap. Stop talking about other vehicles this is for a Roush mustang nothing else. Go watch your beemer crap if you like but please dont bring it in here.

  • Your post too easily displays your lack of ability to read properly. Here I will help: start again from the top, read that post first, then carry on in sequence.

Someone else commented first and I was posting actual times for the self-deluded and ignorant such as yourself. If you cannot debate cars, you are not a car guy. So start talking about knitting or something then, unless you actually like talking about cars? The lap-times are their for Roush to beat, can they do it?

  • Wow mabe you should take your own advise dumbass. I commented only from a post i saw form you, I don't care who you were having a conversation with and or why, did I ask no.

I Commented for on piece you wrote and only that section. Congratulations stupid. and yes your imaturity proves you're not car guy. grow up brat.

  • I do not need to take my own advise, I can read a whole thread. The fact you read only one section, plus your original post, plus your teenage-girl-brat comment is all I need to understand you will have no Roush input.

Before I post something, I read all the related posts, so I do not look like you did in your original post. Once again, the Roush has no times on any major tracks to compare with the M3. So far, next to the CTS-V, no stock/factory upgraded sedan has beaten its track times.

  • My point is quite clear, from the first postings. Roush must put up sometimes. People here can "say" it will beat a certain car, but until it does

  • yeah, you're missing the bigger picture once again. that's why you're a dumbass. I commented from a post, not from a whole entire thread of a conversation you had. Just one simple post. congratulations. on looking stupid yet again. PS: keep that bmw trash out of a mustang Video blog. we want too hear about this car an only this car.

  • LOL, master of the thread you are! There is always someone who thinks they can tell people where to post and not to, you Troll! Why not go into every car thread, where car guys comment and tell them what and where to post too?

I have explained the bigger picture quite well; you are just to dumb to understand. My post is factual and intended to fish out some Roush times, to compare to the M3's. At least I am contributing something other than Trollish single post comments like yours was!

  • Wow, you preech the trash that you are too others, this gets better and better. Thank you for telling on yourself.

  • Since a few people were mentioning the M3 here, I posted its times for comparisons, after a M3 post to boot. This is a reply forum, people do that your know? Oh wait you do not, it is clear you think it is reserved for only you.

Why not go through the rest of the posts and tell other people, who are mentioning other cars as comparisons or for other purposes, what to do as well??? Why not go to every video, pick a post, do not read the whole thread and then tell them what to do/post?

  • Nothing else? You are a walking contradication, wow! Yes and that is the reason why i posted too you, So others will also stop m3s suck they are crap... and this is a roush mustang so keep it about mustangs only not m3's

  • Looks like you replied to the wrong post? I think you meant that for the other comment below your V6 comments? Where you are not talking about a Roush? Did you mean to quote what I typed instead of just paste it down, not knowing who typed it?

Never mind though, this whole thread is not just for Mustangs. People are going to comment about all sorts of things here, especially the competition! Anyone who posts in a public place, especially one full of car-guys, must expect a debate to happen.

  • but really, no M3 From factory is a compition, So why bring it up.. they suck Now an "HPF or whatever the name is, where they pretty much rebuild it and twinturbo it. now those M3's are the only thing too even think about. but again its not from there bmw factory.

  • What? M3 Stats, from multi-testers...

    0-60@4.3-4.5 seconds (4.3 is from a Duel Clutch Launch@C&D)

Zero to 100 mph: 9.8 sec (nearly 1sec faster than any stock 427r stat I can find)

    ¼ mile@12.7 seconds at 113mph (fastest stock 2010 I could find from a 427r was 109mph)

Grip@ 0.95-96gs on the skidpad (427r get 0.94g's from many sources)

Braking@147ft (427r is in the 150ish ft range)

So how is this not competition? Also, the M3's and Mustangs compete in the Koni Racing.

  • Any 2008+ M3 E92, duel clutch trannyed, tested by all magazines and websites, all get very similar stats to those, just look it up for yourself. And stats wise for a 4-5 seater sports/sedan/coupe it holds majority of the track records out there. Only the CTS-V is stomping it atm.

  • ive seen one in red, oh....my....god

  • ok 1 this is a 427r 2 its all because of tuning 3 the hp is 435 at the crank and 400 lb-ft of torque also never did have to do with engine size pls dnt bullshit make sure u kno something about cars...by the way i kno this because i own one

  • That is 427 at the crank. works out to about 375 at the wheels,

  • they cost about 51k

  • i love this car!!! what do they normally cost?

  • just taking a wild guess, 40-60 grand

  • Yeah the sticker is 50k but the dealer near me that has one for 39k,. I just test drove it earlier. It was amazing. The sound alone is just mindblowing, as you can tell from the video.

  • you lucky bastard, lol its my dream to drive one of these. im buying one when i get older i don't give a shit if i have to live in a apartment lol

  • i love roush mustangs and saleen... really wana to buy one of these awsome cars....

  • fuck anyone who is saying "rape" or "murder". He was the one who paid the money, let him do as he pleases. That car wasn't made to be driven easy, it was made to perform.

  • Settle down ! the car was not built to be a trailer queen. Anyway, the car was a willing participant !

  • murder!!!

  • rape!!!

  • abuse!!!

  • ok well i have 2 i have a drag pak and a trak pak my trak pack bone stock pushd out over 450 hp rear wheels on the dyno. so Roush had to put 435 hp on the badge because insurance purposes. thats why its called the street legal race car.

  • you are so stupid. 427 have no where near 450 at the wheels. do you do drugs or is it just natural stupidity???

  • um they have 427 horsepower thats why they are called a 427.

  • its a misnomer. they don't have 427 hp. and I don't think they ever did. get with one of the mustang junkies and they could give you some historical reason why its labled a 427 I'm sure.

  • nope not even close 427 is the cubic inch of the motor block

  • Yeah, back then. Now it's the horsepower. I died a little inside when I read that in motortrend.

  • yea and its the engine being tuned a certaint way that its given the 427R label i thought

  • yuup

    btw this isnt the 427r

  • i just picked up a brand new 08 red 427r with the stage 3 wheels n drag radials..i def dont want new tires after a week haha

  • does any1 know how much 1 is???

  • They list new for approx. $53k. You can pick up a year old for approx. $37 - $40.

  • @ltwon0 Yup that is why I almost bought one on an impulse buy! Best bang for your buck for speed in a nice lookin car. Love that short throw shift pattern! Wouldve got it but the girlfriend wanted a boat..now she is gone! Damn it!

  • Nice to hear what the car sounds like from the outside. I'm always hearing it from inside and it does sound different:-) Nice Video!!!

  • my dream car:) they they tested it on topgear vs the best lotus on a lotus designed track.. and it was almost as fast. on a speed track it would kill the lotus.. don`t know why it was a gocart size car vs a family size.. stupid.. Bmw M3 would be better, M3 was slower than lotus on that track..

  • m3 would murder this car

  • dont think so.. there are 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo that compeat with m3 on nurburgring.. and corvette`s made the last 10 years beat m3`s easy... these new m3 with V8 are even slower than the old 6cyl ones... wikipedia:nurburgring lap times.. m3 vs 427r= best driver wins.. my brother had a BMW coupe 6cyl 200hp 328i with m3 styling.. cool car...

  • why do they call it 427r?

  • because its a 427?

  • NO. 427hp

  • Its a 435hp not 427hp. The first one made had a 427 in it. They decided to make that the model name of the car.

  • there is 435 hp, the 427 is in recgnition of the 427 engine, thats why there is a 428r and 429r...everyone thinks there is a 427 in them...its just the stock 281, with a 427 in them, they would be much more than 435 hp

  • that'd be SWEET if they brought back FEs and stuck in new mustangs though!

  • roush does it again..excellent.!!

  • sounds nice

  • that sounds like it has a supercharger in it

  • thats because it comes with the roushcharger (which is a supercharger).

  • yes, the 427R comes with a two screw supercharger. that's the whine your hearing.

  • it actually has a roots designed super charger. saleen has the twin screw. roots makes less power but still great power i test drove a black jack very simalar power great package.

  • looks amazing coming down the street...beautiful

  • geiles Auto, man hört richig das Pfeifen des Turboladers^^

  • Very nice. Good driving. More :)
