  • I think we have to invade Brazil..and take the Amazon..what do u think???

Puto invejoso, vai aprender a escrever!

  • loboanamiguelito,

  • Its up to Brazil what happens to these forests, no more save the rainforest money for Brazil

  • No need to worry, everyone! Bush says that if we pray to the Baby Jesus real, real hard the trees will be resurrected all Christ-like. Problem. Solved.

  • @Jackstowne fuck off troll nobody cares about bush anymore or you emo fuckers antireligious bigotry.

  • @MuslimApostate

Bigotry mostly comes from religion, not from secularists. Get your facts straight.

  • @jipke and who said i was religious to begin with? Look up definition of apostate fucknuts. Once again further proof atheists have no place to talk shit bout religion seeing as your as clueless as the theists you bash.

  • @MuslimApostate

    Thanks for this mature respons.

  • @jipke = response

  • @jipke hey truth hurts sometimes.

  • then die.. human race deserves no better.

  • Now if we persue development .... we need to cut down.

When we cut down ... we destroy the system of nature & our gas intake for good air is reduced.

Plant back sectors that are cut down.

We are simply not getting back forest because we are simply neglecting REPLANTING

  • You can not replace virgin forest. Even if WE could wait the 500 or so years it would take to reach maturity. The ecosystems that rely on it will at best be decimated by the restriction on genetic diversity. There is so little left of what was there only a generation ago it is pure fantasy to talk of sustainable forrestry.

It either goes or what little remains is 100% protected.

  • The concept of replanting is not limited to rain forest.

We need to come to point that just replant any sort of tree .... its for our own good.

If this mentality is adopted no matter how much we cut down .... there will be other trees growing somewhere in the world !

Then only a balance is strucked.

  • The issue isn't as simple as the number of trees. It's best described as the maintenance of size and quality of biodiversity. For example what happens to all the insects that live on/in the knarled branches of ancient trees between the time they are felled and the time the re-planted tree reaches a similar maturity. We have stripped the earth of most of it's forrest in a quarter of the time it will take to be replaced if it was all re-planted tomorrow.

  • I partially AGREE with your statements. Although I'm also concerned about the destruction of our forests consequences may I remind you that, THEY STILL BELONG TO BRAZIL ONLY!!! Do you folks in Europe or in the US pay any royalties for "the next generations"? Besides, what have you done to your own forests? BRAZIL HAVE NO LESSONS TO TAKE FROM YOU! Just make sure that, the pollution produced by your countries IS THE TRUE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WORLD'S CHAOS TODAY!

  • There is no future in a nationalist blame game. The earth belongs to all of us including our children. Ours is the responsibility to look after it properly.

I can't change what other people have done in the past. If I could make the rich repay the debt it owes to the rest of us I would.

All I can do is try and work around the political corruption for the good of all humanity and neither bankers, religions, racists or nationalists will stop me.

  • Hi MaxSafeheaD . Of course you can change what other people have done in the past! You could start it off by fighting against the CO2 gas emission that your own country is also responsible for. You can act against the big trusts that manipulate Britain's policies and keep destroying your environment. What do you do in order to prevent your leaders from extending Heathrow airport facilities? You've got so much to do in your country instead of judging others...

  • You said you it all, buddy. European countries and the US destroy almost all of their forests and now they want to teach us! One remind: and the real polluters are: surprise, USA(first place) you did not sign the Kyoto treaty on carbon dioxide emissions reductions

  • well said.

  • @gustavinho71 obama signed it last year actually. China is the biggest polluter according to environmentalists.

  • @gustavinho71 actually northern europe along with northern canada both play host to the largest biodiversity environment after the amazon. Google Taiga forest.

  • @thestick52

No its the collective stupidity of the entire human race.

Overpopulation is the Number 1 cause of all the worlds problems. The earth simply cannot support 8 billion people.... especially people who live their lives in ... exuberance... Go vegetarian. Save the world.

  • Thats a good theory, but the problem is that in rainforest u cannot easily replant because once the the canopy and and vegetation is removed the land turns into a 'wet desert' and soil looses nutrients.
