FUCK YOU! this is post new rave funk psychedelic cyberpunk modernism!!!!!!! who gives a fuck. Seriously. The genre-stamping crap has to go. Next album they'll have a slightly different style and then you'll have to label them all over again. So tedious.

If you asked them what genre they were they'd answer "i don't really know, we do our thing". Just like most bands would. Artists don't give a fuck

no because, new rave was e.g. new indie bands in the 90's like supergrass were labelled new rave u fucking idiot. klaxons didnt come up with the name. bouncer isnt technically theres though is it, its a cover, like its not over. is a cover. so. theres ur evidence.

new rave changes every decade or few years. indie in the 90's was technically new rave. but now electronica/techno/drum and bass is the sort of new rave, and shy child are a perfect example of new rave.

i don't think new rave is a new movement, theirs always been indie dance, indie disco bands but like recently these new bands have been combining electro music with indie rock riffs. Generally, dance music especially the less pop stuff, like justice, is big

You actually dont know what youre on about, so I shall teach you. 1: Klaxons have more than one "dance" track how about you listen to tracks before myths of the near future such as their cover of Kicks like a mule's "the bouncer".2: Klaxons themselves coined the term new rave in their first interview in nme, so it was themselves who labelled it and 3: Klaxons do have keys, they have all the way along. they may not use it in as big a part as they did but its still written with keyboard parts

klaxons r a big part of modern new rave like cause they were the first successful band from it. lesser known art rock, dancey typs bands like lcd sounsystem came out before but we'ren't no way near as big as the klaxons r
