You can also land the sweep when you see the kimura coming. Also, I don't know if he covered this in his DVD, but you can take the guy over your other shoulder by hooking his head with your forearm and bicep and punching your arm diagonly and bringing your legs up. Feels a bit weird.

I got Vince's DVD when it first came out and it was well worth the money. Not many guys deal with half guard bottom when the top guy has you flattened out.
