Even my own family member either support these stupid bills or they don't understand the repercussions of them. They don't realize that our government is becoming the very thing that they have always been saying we are lucky not to live in.
For once, I am the informed one, and they are the ignorant ones. It is an extremely sad world.

@averagejoetactical1 Even if a bill is signed into law, the Supreme Court is capable of saying it is unconstitutional right? Although, we could probably assume that the Supreme Court is as crazy and thoughtless as the president and congress.
I also know that some laws have been revoked even after they were originally signed it. The future looks bleak now, but if we do something maybe that could happen in the future.

@averagejoetactical1 Aren't all those Civil Rights groups protesting it, especially American Civil Liberties Union? If you are talking about people in power, we do know there are a few senators who really don't like this bill, but as we all know, their numbers are too few.
Quite frankly, I am at a loss at to what I can really do. The best I have done so far is telling a bunch of people about this thing, and even then I don't know if I really got through.

This is driving me mad, not because I think I will be detained. But the the thought of someone else getting detained without a charge or trial is beyond infuriating to me. Do people need to watch what they say so that the Government will not imprison them? This is not going to happen in America, we must eliminate our false leaders.

Furthermore, John McCain helped put the bill together, and John Kerry voted for it so had either been elected President it would also have been signed into law. No matter who was President they would have taken these dictatorial powers just like Obama has. There was no turning point, we never had a choice.

It's interesting that they suggest the election of Obama was the turning point, as if we had a choice. The election of Obama could be seen as a rebuke of the unilateral Presidency of George Bush, which John McCain would likely have continued. Therefore, man seemingly least likely to take away our rights was elected in that election.
